There have been a number of fairly recent horror/thriller movies that have been marketed as the horror or ‘adult’ version of Home Alone. Now, Home Alone is one of my favourite movies ever and a more adult orientated version should be perfect. Unfortunately it’s not quite as simple as that and although 1989’s Deadly Games is great, nothing since has really captured that same Christmas feeling with a bit more of an edge. How To Deter A Robber is the latest movie to try.

In it, we see a young couple initially suspected of the number of burglaries in their small town. But when their own home gets robbed, they have to face off against the real criminals.

Abbie Cobb & Zachary Ray Sherman will reprise their gone-but-not-forgotten characters, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively. 90210 is bringing back the ghosts of Annie's (Shenae Grimes) past for the show's upcoming 100th episode, airing later this year, which is sure to make for one crazy reunion — literally. Multiple sources confirm to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Abbie Cobb (Annie's psychotic cousin Emily from season three) and Zachary Ray Sherman (Annie's drug-dealing boyfriend Jasper from season two) will both be featured on the milestone episode. Emily, who temporarily lived with the Wilson family in season three, moved back home after failing to steal Annie's life. Jasper was given considerably less closure, suddenly disappearing after a tense confrontation with Liam (Matt Lanter) on the second season finale. I recently asked Matt about the highly anticipated 100th episode, and he teased a few dramatic reunions: "We might see several past characters come back," he told me.

I’m not afraid to admit I’m more than a little stumped by the recent casting of Abbie Cobb on NCIS: Los Angeles. It has nothing to do with Cobb herself, but everything to with the character she’s playing. I long ago became used to the fact most casting announcements come with next to no information in order to keep their Internet saavy audiences guessing, but occasionally the lack of information just confuses the hell out of me, and Cobb’s casting is just one such occasion. The "Modern Family" cast may look a little different when Season 4 kicks off in September. Yes, the cast has settled their contract dispute and will all return, but one character is being recast: Jay and Gloria's dog, Stella.

According to TMZ, Stella, who has been played a French bulldog named Brigitte, has been let go by Hollywood agency Good Dog Animals. The part of Stella will now be played by Beatrice, another French bulldog. Request for comment from ABC was not immediately returned.

The 90210 writers didn't try very hard to give us contrasting storylines this week, did they?

On "Liars," we watched as Adrianna faked Ptsd, and then as Ivy actually suffered through it. We also saw Navid unable to end his relationship with Adrianna due to the current state of her life... and Annie unable to end her relationship with Charlie due to the current state of Liam's life.

Did anyone else experience a feeling of deja vu when they watched the conversation between Annie and Liam at the Beach Club?

It wasn't just that this development so closely resembles the triangle between Navid, Adrianna and Silver; it's that 90210 is in serious danger of permanently angering all Lannie fans. You can only tease a relationship so many times before viewers simply get annoyed at the obstacles being thrown in between a pairing.

Has the show reached that point with Annie and Liam?...

A few things are going down in the near future for "90210." A hip hop icon stops by, a new guy makes Naomi blue, and an old enemy makes her a prisoner.

Annie's evil cousin arrives to steal everything in this new CW "90210" season 3 spoiler. According to Michael Ausiello at Movieline, Annie and Dixon's evil,female cousin is going to be arriving in Beverly Hills to steal everything Annie has,and she'll be played by Disney Channel starlet Abbie Cobb. Michael says that 90210 has cast Abbie Cobb to play the recurring role of Annie and Dixon's spotlight hungry cousin named Emily. The Emily character is described as a country bumpkin who plays innocent,but has stars in her eyes. Emily comes to town intent on stealing everything from Annie,including her acting parts and her ex-boyfriend Liam. Currently, there's no info on which episode she'll debut in,but she does sound interesting. Abbie Cobb's acting resume includes: guest spots on The Mentalist,CSI: Miami,Medium, Disney's Jonas show,and Starstruck.

Abbie Cobb has reportedly signed up to appear in 90210. Movieline says that the actress has landed a recurring role in the CW series. 90210 has cast a relative/stalker for Annie.

As previously reported, a cousin named Emily will soon enter the picture and cause problems by essentially trying to steal Annie's identity. She'll go after this character's acting parts and also a certain somebody she's crushed on over the years, Liam.

We can now confirm that Abbie Cobb has landed the role. The young actress most recently appeared on an episode of The Mentalist. What do you think of this casting decision? Cobb looks nice and shady to us...

"StarStruck" has eight new clips.
