Dexter: Resurrection Episode 6 Recap — Michael C Hall Hunts The Gemini Killer As Serial Killers Fall One-By-One In “Prestige” Television
Image
What Happens On The Sixth Episode Of Dexter: Resurrection?(Photo Credit –Facebook)

Spoiler Alert: The following article contains major spoilers for Dexter: Resurrection Episode 6.

The sixth episode of Dexter: Resurrection pits the titular vigilante, played by Michael C. Hall, against yet another colleague from Leon Prater’s serial killer congregation, and once again, it manifests not through acts of passion but through circumstances demanding intervention. This episode, titled “Cats and Mouse,” also delivers major emotional crescendos for supporting characters including Charley, Harrison, and Dexter’s landlord Blessing.

It also consolidates certain narrative developments while unveiling countless more mysteries, including the emergence of the amorphous Gemini Killer (David Dastmalchian), whose presence threatens to unravel the delicate equilibrium of Prater’s murderous consortium.

#DexterResurrection

Episode six is simply indescribable — a breathtaking work of art, every bit as magnificent as the five episodes before it. Each chapter pulses with its own thrilling,...

Latest ‘Dexter’ Victim Teases Another Resurrection: “I Wouldn’t Count Anything Out”
Image
[This story contains major spoilers from episode six of Dexter: Resurrection.]

Another killer bites the dust… on second thought, two more killers bite the dust. On third thought, maybe it really is just one? The math’s getting confusing here on Dexter: Resurrection, as the latest episode brings us two casualties and one resurrection — with potential to change those numbers in the weeks ahead.

The sixth episode, “Cats and Mouse,” sees Dexter (Michael C. Hall) stalking the Gemini Killer, played by David Dastmalchian, a murderer so famous as to top the FBI’s most-wanted list. As easily as he evades the feds, the Gemini Killer is no match for Dexter Morgan, as he all but ties himself up to the wrong end of the killing table. But both Dexter and Dexter viewers get quite the shock at the end of the episode when the Gemini Killer casually meets back up with Dexter and their fellow murderous peers, as if nothing happened at all.

Dexter: Resurrection Dishes Out a Reveal So Twisted, We Never Saw It Coming
Image
If you’re at all like us, then Friday’s Dexter: Resurrection twist had you seeing double, literally and figuratively.

The pivotal sixth installment moved the plot forward for two of Dexter’s new killer colleagues, but before we get to that jaw-dropping cliffhanger that we must talk about, an update on poor Mia. At the end of last week’s episode, Charley promised that she and Prater would help make sure Mia’s prison stay was as comfortable and short as possible. (“Short” being the keyword there.) Just before Batista stormed into the prison with Wallace and Oliva to...

Krysten Ritter Talks ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Surprise Reveal & Observing Michael C. Hall At Work: “What A Masterclass”
Image
The following reveals major spoilers from Episode 6 of Dexter: Resurrection titled “Cat and Mouse.”

Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is taking out serial killers left and right on Dexter: Resurrection, and nobody is safe.

In the show’s freshman season thus far, Dexter has escaped the Grim Reaper and is now living in New York City, where he reunited with his son, Harrison Morgan (Jack Alcott). He’s also connected with some like-minded individuals: Lowell (Neil Patrick Harris), Mia (Krysten Ritter), Gareth (David Dastmalchian), and Al (Eric Stonestreet), brought together by Leon Prater (Peter Dinklage), a mysterious billionaire with a penchant for serial killers.

Although Prater has a rule against his guests offing one another, Dexter can’t help himself. Off the bat, he takes down Lowell in Episode 4, a tattoo collector ready to pounce on a new victim. Next is Mia, a stunning sommelier who seems to follow a killer code,...

Image
Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for 'Dexter: Resurrection' Episode 6.

We think we speak for every fan when we say Dexter: Resurrection Episode 6, titled “Cat and Mouse,” was easily one of the series’ most shocking episodes yet. In a huge plot twist, it was revealed that Gareth (David Dastmalchian), or the Gemini Killer, is a twin! The revelation came right after Dexter had killed and disposed of Gareth’s body (via Collider).

Not only does this raise the stakes multifold for Dexter (Michael C. Hall), but the twin angle really stands out as a first for the franchise. Dexter: Resurrection season 1, episode 6 recap: Double trouble
Image
At the end of last week, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) seemed to wrap things up a little too neatly. He took Lady Vengeance (Krysten Ritter) off the board without drawing suspicion, seemingly clearing Harrison (Jack Alcott) in the process. But as we’ve learned, nothing is as easy as it seems.

As we turn to the home stretch on this season of Dexter: Resurrection, things go from safe to white hot in a hurry. This week’s episode, “Cats and Mouse,” sees Dexter dealing with issues on a couple of fronts. Let’s dive into the details. Spoilers Below.

Father-son bonding

If nothing else, Dexter’s work last week brought father-and-son closer. He and Harrison are in a better place. He’s more open to sharing and is now an advocate for Harrison living a safer, murder-free life. That’s a new kind of role for Dexter. As we begin,...

‘Dexter: Resurrection’: Gemini Killer Twin Twist Revealed
Image
[Warning: The following post contains major spoilers about Dexter: Resurrection Episode 6, “Cats & Mouse.”] Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) found himself in double trouble by the end of the latest episode of Dexter: Resurrection. After Mia a.k.a. “Lady Vengeance” (Krysten Ritter) was arrested for her many murders — and one attempt foiled by Dexter — all of Leon Prater’s (Peter Dinklage) crew went into crisis mode. Charley (Uma Thurman) scrambled to gather and calm — or perhaps just control — his secret friends, while Gareth a.k.a. The Gemini Killer (David Dastmalchian) and Al a.k.a. Rapunzel (Eric Stonestreet) worried she might turn them in and needed to be dealt with. Prater, who was in the middle of a publicity stunt (being interviewed by Lesley Stahl and the like), didn’t seem to disagree. Dexter was not a fan of Gareth’s blasé (and sexist) attitude about Mia, and he was especially disgusted by him after looking at photos ...

TIFF’s Midnight Madness Programmer Peter Kuplowsky Details His Deranged 2025 Lineup [Interview]
Image
The Midnight Madness program at the Toronto International Film Festival has always been a space for cinema that pushes boundaries, disrupts worldviews, and leaves a slippery residue of viscera on the screen—during a festival otherwise dominated by predominantly highbrow, highly serious selections. As the fest turns 50 this September, the program’s disregard for good taste, social norms, and any semblance of staying inside the box shows zero signs of changing.

It’s no wonder TIFF’s Midnight Madness/Strange Cuts program was recently ranked first in Dread Central’s definitive list of the 90 Best Genre Fests on Earth (in a three-way tie with Fantasia and Sitges, respectively).

To prepare for this year’s lineup, I sat down with TIFF Midnight Madness lead programmer Peter Kuplowsky to break down the salacious selections—from the nastiest and most shocking titles to the grim, macabre, and everything in between. Kuplowsky is partly...

With James Gunn now overseeing the DC Universe (alongside Peter Safran), many of his former collaborators are being asked and are asking about potential roles in upcoming Dcu projects. Bradley Cooper (Rocket Racoon in Guardians of the Galaxy) made an unexpected cameo in Superman, and John Cena will soon bring his fan-favorite Dceu character, Peacemaker, to the new DC Universe in the second season of his eponymous show. But, there's another former The Suicide Squad star who is desperate for their character to join the rebooted Dcu, especially following the success of Superman. There's just one giant hurdle standing in their way.

Image
We’re four episodes into Dexter: Resurrection, and things are really starting to heat up. Episode 4 gave us just enough chaos and tension to keep us guessing, and introduced a whole new batch of serial killers for Dexter to acquaint himself with - one of whom already found his way onto Dexter's table.

I was recently able to catch up with series newcomers Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones; Daredevil: Born Again), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family; The Secret Life of Pets), and David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man and the Wasp; Late Night with the Devil) to talk about jumping into this wild world of blood and murder. They opened up about their twisted new characters, how they bring a different kind of energy to Dexter’s story, and why this season feels like the perfect mix of fresh blood and old-school Dexter vibes - and, of course, how they'll do their best to avoid Dexter's wrath.

Image
Seasoned comic book movie actor David Dastmalchian addresses his long MCU absence after playing two Ant-Man characters at Sdcc 2025. David Dastmalchian made his MCU debut in Ant-Man, where he played Scott Lang's friend Kurt Goreshter. Eight years later, Dastmalchian played the alien being Veb in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania. Yet, neither character has returned or been acknowledged since then.

David Dastmalchian talked with ScreenRant's Ash Crossan at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, where he shared his thoughts on his MCU roles. Dastmalchian jokes that he's "got a bit of beef with Marvel" because Veb's translating abilities and Kurt's tech knowledge could still come in handy in the MCU, but they've been forgotten. Read Dastmalchian's full comments:

Screen Rant: Where do you think Kurt is at? Did the Baba Yaga get him?

The show was based on Martha Wells' The Murderbot Diaries series, and not all the stories have been covered. Yet, for all of its success, one star never expected to get this far.

In an interview with ScreenRant's Ash Crossan at San Diego Comic-Con, David Dastmalchian (Gurathin) expressed that he never thought that the show would succeed. Because he found the show "so special" and "so weird", he thought that audiences...

Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis opened up about her considerations of retirement and Hollywood’s aging problem in relation to her parents, icons of the industry Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis.

In an extensive interview with The Guardian tied to the upcoming Aug. 8 release of Disney’s Freakier Friday, the Halloween actress slammed the entertainment world’s treatment of older actors, particularly women.

“I witnessed my parents lose the very thing that gave them their fame and their life and their livelihood, when the industry rejected them at a certain age,” she explained. “I watched them reach incredible success and then have it slowly erode to where it was gone. And that’s very painful.”

Because of this, Curtis added, “I have been self-retiring for 30 years. I have been prepping to get out, so that I don’t have to suffer the same as my family did. I want to...

Celebrate This Notable Day in Dracula's History With One of the Most Underrated Vampire Movies on Streaming
Image
If you needed a reason to dig into some Dracula lore, you’re in luck. Today, July 24, is one of the days from the doomed passage of the Demeter — as first penned by Bram Stoker in the chapter “The Captain’s Log” from the timeless gothic novel, Dracula. But reading isn’t the only way you can bring the memory of Dracula to life, as a movie that centers around this specific chapter alone is now streaming on Paramount+. While other titles like Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Robbert Eggers’ Nosferatu capture the tale of love, lust, and the undead, André Øvredal’s The Last Voyage of the Demeter leaves these things behind and focuses on the pulse-pounding terror faced by the tale’s titular crew.

In last year’s Nosferatu, Eggers simply brushed over this rich and bloody chapter from Stoker’s 1897 novel, but fear not,...
