The first trailer for Goat, the new animated sports comedy from Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures, is finally here, and it’s all about going big, even when you’re small.

NBA legend Stephen Curry helped launch the trailer this week, where he introduces the movie and its unlikely hero: a little goat named Will Harris. Will’s voice is played by Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things, and his big dream is to make it in the world of roarball — a wild, high-speed, full-contact sport played by some of the toughest animals around.

Curry doesn’t actually voice the goat though. He plays Lenny, a tall giraffe athlete. Still, he sets the tone with the film’s main message: “You’re never too small to dream big.”

Goat is an original animated movie coming from Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures, the same team behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. That’s how Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures are setting up their upcoming original animated movie, “Goat,” from Stephen Curry.

The teaser trailer out Wednesday features the iconic NBA player introducing the film, which stars Caleb McLaughlin (“Stranger Things”) as a down-on-his-luck goat named Will Harris who dreams of making it big in roarball. Exclusive: Jennifer Hudson, Aaron Pierre, Jelly Roll, Ayesha Curry, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee Sherry Cola and Eduardo Franco are set to join the voice cast of the Sony Animation pic Goat.

They join previously announced cast Stephen Curry, Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Nick Kroll, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis and Patton Oswalt. The animated sports comedy is directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette.

Netflix has played a big role in Lindsay Lohan's comeback as an actor, but her three films on the streaming service aren't all the same in terms of quality. Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry are producing a new documentary called Sentenced for the streaming service, “an immersive and vulnerable exploration of the epidemic of childhood illiteracy through a series of braided character driven stories.” Each story is filmed from the point of view of a different person who never learned how to read.

Stephen Curry has four NBA championships, two NBA Mvp Awards and an Olympic gold medal, but the Golden State Warriors star is now setting his sights on Hollywood.

Curry is currently starring in Mr. Throwback, a comedy on NBCUniversal’s Peacock, and his Unanimous Media has a full slate of projects and concepts in the works meant to turn the athlete into a media mogul, both in front of and behind the camera.

Creative partners Adam Pally and David Caspe didn’t anticipate that the “third in the Pally-Caspe trilogy” would star one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Pally, a dedicated member of his own rec league basketball team, and Caspe, an “enormous basketball fan and even bigger Stephen Curry fan,” could not believe that the four-time NBA champion wanted to work on a show with them.

Curry appeared on CBS Mornings to promote his second children’s book, I Am Extraordinary, which aims to inspire kids to embrace their uniqueness. CBS News’ Jericka Duncan asked the basketball player if he would ever consider running for president following his time in the athletic world.

In recent years, Lindsay Lohan has carved out a niche in Netflix romcoms. After shooting to fame in films like Disney’s The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Tina Fey’s Mean Girls, there followed a well publicised period of instability after which she began the process of reviving her film career. Beginning with indie dramas like The Canyons, she then signed a deal with Netflix to produce and star in a series of films for the streaming service. It began with seasonal romcom Falling For Christmas, which was released in 2022.

Irish Wish is Lohan’s newest film produced under the deal, the synopsis reads as follows:
