Ex-EastEnders star Sid Owen has revealed that he joined Strictly Come Dancing to prove a point to his ex-fiancée. The Ricky Butcher star, who split with TV presenter Polly Parsons in April, claims that friends also attempted to dissuade him from partaking in the ballroom reality show. "I've been toying with the idea for a few years now," Owen told Pa. "Everyone I've spoken to has said, 'Don't be silly, don't do it because you've got two left feet and you can't dance'.
