Well-known philanthropist Wallis Annenberg has been selected to receive a humanitarian award from Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai at the organization’s spring luncheon.

Scheduled for April 20, the event will be hosted by TV journalist Wendy Burch inside the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills. Watch TV Reporter Get Puked on While Covering Beer-Based Ironman Competition (Video)
Wendy Burch probably should have gone after a desk job. The KTLA5 reporter was sent to Hermosa Beach in Southern California on Tuesday to cover a unique Fourth of July “Ironman” competition, in which participants must run a mile on the beach, paddle a mile in the ocean, and then chug a six-pack of beer. Some “athletes” handled that last leg better than others. Predictably, there was some up-chucking — Burch probably didn’t plan her patriotic outfit out to be paired with vomit, however. Watch this Newscaster Chase After the Hot 'Australian' Runner She Just Interviewed
Someone stop that hot runner! Ktla 5 Newscaster Wendy Burch grabbed a nearby runner for an on-camera interview about reports of shark sightings in Dana Point, California, and was clearly flustered by the guy's ripped body and Australian "accent." So when the interview was over, she did what was necessary and jokingly chased him down. The "Aussie" runner - who was actually identified in Facebook comments as an (American) UCLA student and pole vaulter named Riley Turner - said that beach-goers shouldn't worry about the sharks. "I mean, the sharks are always going to be there," Turner says, in a wavering Australian accent.
