The genocidal conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War left Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with a real mess on their hands, but in a moment of last-minute resourcefulness, Nick Fury’s final act before turning into dust was to invite the star of next year’s Captain Marvel into the fray.

It seems like a strategically sound move on Fury’s part, given Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige’s claim that Carol Danvers will be the most powerful character of the McU thus far, but could there be more to this eleventh hour decision than meets the eye?

With the Disney/Fox merger going ahead, Marvel Studios should get their hands on a whole host of tantalizing new characters to play with in Phase Four and beyond. Apart from the likes of the X-Men and Fantastic Four, someone that fans keep bringing up as having a lot of potential in the McU is Galactus. After Thanos, there aren’t many villains who could pose a greater threat than the Mad Titan, but the Devourer of Worlds is certainly one of them.

But what if Galactus is already in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we just never knew it? YouTuber Webhead Aka Ryan Walsh discusses this intriguing fan theory in his latest video, which puts forward the idea that Galactus is actually trapped in the Power Stone. But what if things aren’t going quite as swimmingly for intergalactic conqueror as you might think?

In a new video from YouTube channel Webhead, Ryan Walsh tackles the various theories regarding the notion that in the wake of the genocidal snap, Thanos is in some way either dead or dying. This is an idea that has taken various forms in recent month, but many relate it to the mysterious sequence that comes immediately after that universe-altering event.

“No resurrections this time…”

That’s Thanos there, telling Thor (and the audience!) that Loki really uttered his last breath during the opening moments of Avengers: Infinity War.

It was a brutal way to jump-start what is undoubtedly Marvel’s biggest ever movie, all the while cementing Thanos’ place as the McU’s ultimate villain, one who’s able to unseat the reigning champion without so much as breaking a sweat. And while there have been numerous theories about Loki’s potential resurrection for Avengers 4, a new video from Ryan Walsh (Aka Webhead) cuts through the white noise to claim that the God of Mischief really has passed over. Even if he deliberately sacrificed himself at the hands of Thanos.

Recently, a new Avengers 4 rumor claimed that a long-dead hero would be returning to the McU for the first time in years. Namely, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver, who was shockingly killed off after only one movie back in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. But can we actually trust this rumor?

Given that the details of Quicksilver’s return are sketchy at best, we’re not so sure, but it’s certainly possible that Pietro Maximoff could make a comeback in the Infinity War sequel.
