Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit) has booked a recurring role on the second season of CBS All Access drama series The Good Fight, from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. In Season 2, the Chicago murder rate is on the rise, and Diane (Christine Baranski), Lucca (Cush Jumbo), Maia (Rose Leslie) and the rest of the law firm find themselves under psychological assault when a client at another firm kills his lawyer for overcharging. Lenk will play Nafatali Amado, the fiancée of Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker). Lenk currently stars on Broadway in The Band’s Visit. Hina Abdullah has joined the cast of the Mrc/Sony comedy "30 Minutes or Less." According to Variety, the cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, Fred Ward, Michael Peña and Nick Swardson. Reuben Fleisher ("Zombieland") is directing from a script by Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan, with shooting set to start later this month in Michigan. Sony will release the film on August 12, 2011. The story revolves around two criminals who force a pizza delivery man to rob a bank in 30 minutes or less. Abdullah appears in the upcoming Kenneth Lonergan film "Margaret," opposite Anna Paquin, Matt Damon and Mark Ruffalo.

Contagion didn’t really need anything more to intrigue. Director Stephen Soderbergh is re-teaming with The Informant! scribe Scott Z. Burns, with a cast that includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, and Jude Law for his first 3D movie, about a viral outbreak. That’s already, like, seventy-eight degrees of awesome. Hina Abdullah ("Margaret") has joined the cast of Mrc/Sony's "30 Minutes or Less." The comedy from Mrc/Sony starts filming in Michigan this month. She joins Danny McBride, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Pena, Nick Swardson and Aziz Ansari, Fred Ward in the Reuben Fleisher ("Zombieland"). Produced by Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld, the action comedy tells of two criminals who force a pizza-delivery man and a junior-high history teacher to rob a bank by strapping one of them into a bomb vest. Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan wrote the screenplay.

Reviews were decidedly mixed but generally pretty weak at the time, so the greenlighting of a sequel surprised quite a few.
