This spring, Hallmark Channel offers a lineup of feel-good, romantic movies to start the season off right. The event kicks off on Saturday, at 8 pm Et/Pt with the first new, original movie, Switching Gears.

This Halloween season, Lifetime unveils “Truly Unbelievable Movies,” a Ripped from the Headlines Event featuring a slate of seven new original movies featuring top talent.

All produced earlier this year, the lineup includes Lifetime’s milestone 500th original movie, the two-night event Murdaugh Murders: The Movie starring Bill Pullman as Alex Murdaugh who, on the surface is a prominent and respected South Carolina lawyer, loving husband and father but behind closed doors, lived a drug-filled secret life that ultimately led to murder.

The event officially kicked off on September 17, and brand new original movies will debut on Saturdays at 8p/7c from now through October 28, 2023.

On Friday, the network released the first trailer for the upcoming TV movie, “Buying Back My Daughter”, in which Madix has a supporting role.

The “Ripped From the Headlines” film is executive produced by and starring Meagan Good, and follows a couple’s teenage daughter who sneaks out of the house to attend a party, which soon escalates into a widespread search party spearheaded by Dana (Good) and the police. Three gripping films from Lifetime are coming to Canada this fall.

Today, the TV network unveiled a first-look trailer for its “Ripped From The Headlines” event, in which new “truly unbelievable movies” will premiere every weekend beginning September 16.

Dubbed “movies you have to see to believe,” a few of the titles will air on Lifetime Canada and Slice, including one starring “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix.

On Wednesday, Lifetime revealed the first images of Madix as Officer Karen in its forthcoming movie Buying Back My Daughter that also stars Meagan Good and is set to debut this fall. The photos were released on the same day that Vanderpump Rules fans will get to watch the final installment of its season 10 reunion, featuring Raquel Leviss addressing her co-stars following news breaking in March that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on longtime partner Madix with Leviss.

Buying Back My Daughter centers on married couple Dana (Good) and Curtis (Roger Cross) searching for their missing daughter, Alicia (Faith Wright), after the 16-year-old sneaks out of their home to attend a party and becomes a victim of a human trafficking ring.

Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix is scaling a new career milestone, snagging a movie deal with Lifetime amid the Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss cheating scandal. According to a press release issues Wednesday, March 22 by the Lifetime network, Madix has been cast in an upcoming made-for-tv movie, with the working title “Buying Back My Daughter.”

Starring Meagan Good, who will also serve as executive producer, the film is “inspired by actual events of mothers who fight back when their teenage daughters go missing and are sex trafficked online.”
