J. Michael Vargas is a narrative and documentary filmmaker from Tampa,
Florida. Michael studied as a BFA film major at the Florida State
University College of Motion Picture Arts, and has directed three short
narratives as well as a short documentary. Michael has worked on a
variety of outside projects, including feature films, commercials, &
various promotional videos. Michael concentrated on cinematography,
while in school, and has studied under Keith Slade, Rexford Metz, ASC,
& Johnny E. Jensen, ASC.
