Klos Radio’s Lisa May Talks Life After ‘Kevin and Bean,’ Calling Her New Host a ‘D-ck’ on Day 2
Lisa May has been at her new job for nearly one month now. To match her last high-profile radio gig as sidekick to popular talk show hosts “Kevin and Bean,” she’ll just need to stick around 95.5 Klos-fm for another 23 years and 11 months. The upbeat, fan-favorite traffic reporter and entertainment-minute chatterbox was rather unceremoniously-yet-famously canned from mega-station Kroq in February. May detailed what she called the “story no one has really heard” on the “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend” podcast shortly thereafter. She and Rosen had much to discuss — and bond over — as Rosen had recently been fired via email following four years.

April Fools', Happy Endings Fans! 'New Day' Tweet Confirmed to Be a Joke
Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Damon Wayans Jr., Adam Pally, Casey Wilson, and Eliza Coupe in Happy Endings (2011)
Talk about anticlimactic.

As many Happy Endings fans had speculated, the mysterious countdown clock tweeted by the show’s writers in February was ultimately nothing more than an April Fool’s Day prank — and a pretty lame one at that.

On Feb. 7, the Twitter handle @HappyWrites published the link to a website, which merely stated the words, “It’s almost a new day,” alongside a clock ticking down the seconds until April 1.

Though the cryptic tweet sparked a flurry of rumors about a Happy Endings reunion, movie...

Kroq Personality Lisa May Breaks Silence on Being Fired From ‘Kevin & Bean Show’
Former “Kevin & Bean Show” Kroq traffic reporter Lisa May took to “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend” to open up about her recent firing, which was similar to Rosen’s split with “The Adam Carolla Show.” May admitted on the podcast that she wasn’t as “rung through” as Rosen was by Carolla, but placed herself in the same “unceremoniously dumped” pile. “Ok, so this is the story no one has really heard,” May began on Rosen’s podcast. “We were on vacation, I think it was President’s Day. We came back on Tuesday and everything was fine.

Richard Pryor's Widow Calls Bill Cosby a 'Piece of S**t,' 'Dirty on the Inside'
Bill Cosby
It's safe to say that comedian Richard Pryor's widow, Jennifer Lee Pryor, is not a fan of Bill Cosby.

In an interview on Alison Rosen's podcast, Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend, Lee goes off on the 77-year-old comedian in light of the numerous sexual assault allegations against him. Lee served as a manager for Pryor, and wasn't shy about sharing her insight.

"It was a well-kept secret that Bill f*cked everything that moved," she claimed. "This kind of s**t that we're finding out about is beyond. I wasn't aware of this kind of business. There are people in the business who were aware of it and they're coming out now too."

Not holding back. Jennifer Lee, the widow of comedian Richard Pryor, sounded off on Bill Cosby and called him names in a revealing new interview during Alison Rosen's podcast, Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend.  Lee, who served as a manager for Pryor and was married to him twice, spoke to Rosen about her marriage and her late husband before turning the conversation to Cosby, asserting "I'd like to address the whole Bill Cosby thing." Richard Pryor's Widow Calls Bill Cosby a ''F--king Hypocrite'': He ''F--ked Everything That Moved''
Bill Cosby in Cosby (1996)
Not everyone who's known Bill Cosby for years is standing by him. The widow of actor-comedian Richard Pryor—who like Cosby (or unlike him now, depending on who you ask) is considered a master at stand-up, but whose material ultimately became more fiery, profane and cutting-edge than Cosby's—did not mince words when giving her opinion of her late husband's fellow entertainer in a recent interview. Talking about the dynamic between the two on the podcast Alison Rosen Is Your Next Best Friend, Jennifer Lee Pryor said, "Richard was dirty on the outside, but he was a good person on the inside. Alison Rosen Disputes Adam Carolla’s Details of Her Firing
Alison Rosen
Alison Rosen finally provided her account of the events that led to her dismissal from “The Adam Carolla Show” on Saturday and she says it came down to what most male-female breakups do: miscommunication. She says she felt compelled to come forward with her side of the story after comments made by Carolla on his show. “He says he did this because he owed his audience the truth, but he apparently.

James Gunn says Marvel execs found the plot of Guardians 2 to be risky
Everyone wants to know what to expect from Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 despite the fact we are still two years away from seeing the film. But, with Marvel plotting out their projects years in advance, writer/director James Gunn already has his plans developing for the follow-up to the second highest grossing film of 2014. On a recent appearance on Alison Rosen's podcast, Gunn was asked what Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 will be based on to send fans on a furious reading binge of old...

Guardians Of The Galaxy 2: James Gunn teases new details
Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 isn't going to be heavily based on an existing comics story, James Gunn has revealed...

Arriving in cinemas on 5th May 2017 is the sequel to Guardians Of The Galaxy, which will see James Gunn returning to direct, and also to pen the new movie.

Gunn has been teasing a few bits and bobs regarding the film over the past few months, and he's now been a guest on the Alison Rosen podcast, where he's been chatting about the film some more.

So what did we learn? "The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with, that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1", he said. "And it'll answer some of the questions that were put forth in the first movie about Peter Quill's father, and who he is, and what's going on with that".

Gunn further teased that...

James Gunn Talks Possible Plot Details on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’
As Adam Corolla’ “Take a Knee” podcast got the scoop for Mel Brooks’ “Spaceballs 2,” his former co-host Alison Rosen had “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” director James Gunn in the upcoming podcast on Monday.

In her “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend” podcast, Gunn revealed the sequel will not be based on any storyline from the Marvel comic books.

Here’s what he said:

“It’s not really based on anything. The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it’ll answer some of the questions that were put forth in the first movie about Peter Quill’s father and who he is and what’s going on with that. Guardians Of The Galaxy 2: How Marvel Reacted To James Gunn's Pitch
After the critical and commercial success of Guardians of the Galaxy last year, it.s no wonder that Marvel Studios brought back James Gunn to not only direct the sequel, but write the screenplay as well. With the film several years away, there.s still not much we know about what.s in store for the band of rogue adventurers outside of some minor revelations. However, one surprising element that we can expect from the 2017 follow-up is that it won.t be based on a specific storyline from the comics, and to Marvel, this could be a risky development. While appearing on the podcast Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend (via Uproxx), Gunn revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be an original story that he worked on while directing the first movie. The sequel will answer key questions and introduce new characters who will be important to the...

James Gunn Teases Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 'Risky' Concept And 'Important' New Characters
When James Gunn took part in a recent podcast episode of Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend earlier this week, the co-writer and director of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy had teased new developments on the highly-anticipated space epic sequel. “It’s not really based on anything,” said Gunn when asked if there are any comics that inspired the sequel's plot. “The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it’ll answer some of the questions that were put forth in the first movie about Peter Quill’s father and who he is and what’s going on with that. 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Story Too Risky for Marvel?
James Gunn
Writer-director James Gunn recently took a break from working on the script for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to appear on the Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend podcast, where the filmmaker revealed new details about the highly-anticipated sequel. The filmmaker already confirmed in August that Star-Lord's father, whose identity was left a mystery in Guardians of the Galaxy, will not be the same as the comic books, where J'Son was Peter Quill's dad. During this new interview, James Gunn revealed that the sequel will feature an original story he came up with, that is much different from the comic books and was described as "risky" by Marvel executives.

"It's not really based on anything. The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it'll answer some of the questions that were put forth...

James Gunn Talks Guardians Of The Galaxy 2
Considering the phenomenon the first movie has become, there is no doubt that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is high on everyones most anticipated list, but it turns out director James Gunn had planned for a sequel long before the first movie became a hit. Speaking on an upcoming episode (out this Monday) of the podcast Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend (via uproxx) revealed what he has planned for the further adventures of Marvel's lovable bunch of a-holes, and that he began working on it during filming on the original movie: “It’s not really based on anything. The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it’ll answer some of the questions that were put forth in the first movie about Peter Quill’s father and who he is and what’s going on with that.

Marvel Thinks James Gunn's Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Story is "Risky"
We already know that James Gunn has a plan for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and that he's writing the script. But we don't really know what exactly it will be. Don't expect to find anything in the comics though, because the director confirmed that the story is new, original, and not based on anything. It will also introduce new characters who will be important not only to the Guardians of the Galaxy, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. Gunn also explains that when he shared his idea for the sequel with Marvel they said, “Whoa, that’s risky.”

Hopefully they follow through with the risk, because I like it when Marvel makes risky choices! It usually pays off for them. Gunn was recently on Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend (via FilmDrunk) and this is what he had to say about Guardians of the Galaxy 2:

James Gunn’s ‘Risky’ Idea For Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Is Not From The Comics
When the first Guardians Of The Galaxy hit theaters, you might have thought director James Gunn would be multiplex-hopping to check how his first Marvel movie was registering with audiences. But no, Mr. Gunn was busy working on his first draft of the follow-up, Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, which landed the greenlight around the same time. And it’s no wonder, as he’s recently confirmed that the sequel will boast new characters, locations and a new story Not seen in the comics.

In a chat on the Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend podcast (thanks to /Film), Gunn actually verified that his script is original and not culled from the Guardians comic run:

It’s not really based on anything. The story for Guardians 2 is an original story that I came up with that I started working on actually while I was shooting Guardians 1, and it’ll...
