The film is not only creating global buzz by being selected at the prestigious IV New York Film Festival, but has even won awards on domestic grounds.At the Kashish International Queer Mumbai Film Festival, it was certified as the first mainstream film which bravely and sensitively deals with the subject of homosexuality, which is still considered a stigma in society.
