The winners have been revealed at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards!

The ACM Awards winners were announced during a live show that took place on Thursday night (May 8) The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Reba McEntire hosted the show, which streamed on Prime Video for the fourth year in a row. The show previously aired on television on CBS.

Newcomer Ella Langley was nominated for seven awards and was the big winner of the night with five wins, but someone else took home Entertainer of the Year.

First-time ACM Award nominee Ella Langley tops the list of 60th Academy of Country Music Awards nominees with eight nominations. Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Morgan Wallen tied with seven nominations, and Chris Stapleton follows with six. Post Malone and Riley Green each earned five nominations.

Ella Langley’s nominations come in the Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year (as an artist and songwriter), Music Event of the Year, and Visual Media of the Year (as an artist and director) categories. The 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards nominations have been revealed.

First-time nominee Ella Langley leads this year’s nominees with eight nods, followed by seven-time nominees Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with six nods. Post Malone and Riley Green landed five nominations each.

Wallen, Wilson, Johnson and Stapleton are all up the top prize of for entertainer of the year, along with Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs and Jelly Roll.

Langley is up for female artist of the year and new female artist of the year and received six nominations for her song with Riley Green, “you look like you love me.”

If Combs wins entertainer of the year, he will have clinched the coveted Triple Crown Award, which includes wins for entertainer of the year and wins in the act’s respective new artist (male, female, duo or group) and artist categories (male, female, duo...

After multiple people peppered the 2024 CMA Awards with microaggressions disguised as jokes toward breakthrough artist Shaboozey, producer Trent Willmon — one of said artists — took to social media in an attempt to clarify his words.

“Ok… what I meant to express in my overly-shocked and excited state was that I am very proud of @codyjohnson,” wrote Willmon in an Instagram post. “He has worked his Booty off the last 15 years putting out and performing great music and it’s not an overnight success. I was so proud he’s finally getting recognized!

Shaboozey was on a high coming into the 2024 CMA Awards, having received two nods in his debut year as a nominee and a performance slot to showcase a mix of his breakthrough hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and his recent single “Highway.” But what should have been a night of celebrating country — a genre in which the 29-year-old musician has been a history-making force for the duration of the year — was plagued by microaggressions being played off as jokes.

Chris Stapleton topped the list of 58th Annual CMA Awards winners with three wins, including Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year. The wins moved Stapleton into a tie with Brooks & Dunn for the most wins in CMA Awards history.

The 2024 awards show was broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 20th. Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson hosted this year’s show, which featured performances by Eric Church, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, and Bailey Zimmerman.

Going into the ceremony, Morgan Wallen led the field of nominees with seven nods to his name. However, he only took home a single award.

The 58th annual Country Music Association Awards took place Wednesday in Nashville, recognizing the year’s biggest talents of the genre.

Morgan Wallen took home the evening’s big honor, winning Entertainer of the Year, with Megan Moroney taking home New Artist of the Year. Cody Johnson’s Leather won Album of the Year, and Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse” won both Single of the Year and Song of the Year.

The event also honored George Strait with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hosted by Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the awards show was broadcast live on ABC and will be available to stream Thursday on Hulu.

And the world is in shock as a result.

On Monday, September 6, the Country Music Association revealed the full list of nominees for the 58th Annual CMA Awards… with Morgan Wallen leading the pack with seven total nods.

As for Beyonce? She received not a single one.

Not. A. Single. One.

The shut-out is galling and surprising because Beyonce took a critically-acclaimed leap by releasing her first-ever country music album a short time ago.

It debuted atop the charts.

Back in March, the superstar explained the inspiration behind “Cowboy Carter” by saying project was “born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed.

There’s one surprising name missing from the Country Music Association Awards list of 2024 nominees: Beyoncé. The artist’s country and Americana album “Cowboy Carter” did not receive any nominations from the awards organization.

Instead, the most nominated artist of the 2024 CMA Awards is Morgan Wallen, who is nominated for major honors including Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year. As for CMA Entertainer of the Year — the awards show’s biggest honor — that battle will be taking place this year between Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton tied for the second most-nominated artists with five nods apiece. They were then followed by Post Malone and Lainey Wilson, who each secured four nominations, as well as Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney and Kacey Musgraves, who each secured three nominations.

The nominees were determined by eligible voting CMA members comprised of professionals within the country music industry.

Morgan Wallen leads with seven nominations, while other top nominees include Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nominations, and Post Malone and Lainey Wilson with four nominations each.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, which made history after it spent four weeks on top of Billboard’s Top country albums chart, making her the first Black woman to achieve the feat, has been notably shut out of the ceremony’s nominations, despite qualifying for categories like single of the year, song of the year, album of the year, female vocalist of the year and music event of the year.

It was a big night for Lainey Wilson at the ACM Awards. She opened the show with a bang and then capped her evening by winning the coveted “Entertainer of the Year” award.

Wilson opened the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards with a cover of Little Texas’s 1993 hit, God Blessed Texas, along with her own Hang Tight Honey.

The singer was up for four awards this year and won three. It continues her hot hand at the ACMs. In 2023, she was the most-nominated artist and took home the most trophies.
