Roman Reigns ‘Supporting’ Donald Trump Doesn’t Come Close to His Biggest WWE Scandal Involving Steroids

In April 2025, Roman Reigns dropped a major bombshell on his fans when he told Vanity Fair he would always support Donald Trump, taking note of some of his leadership and straight-talking abilities. After the news was reported, fans lost it, with some being furious, considering Reigns had come back from leukemia, and Trump had attacked the funding for cancer research.

Some people just shrugged it off, thinking Roman Reigns was either pandering to his WWE, Trump-loving management, or just giving some love to the president. But drama at the Twitter level? I’m going to say it’s literally nothing compared to the pure lunacy of 2018, when Reigns was embroiled in a ridiculous steroid scandal that could have ruined his entire WWE legacy.

What happened with the steroid allegations?

Richard Rodriguez, who was in prison for running a $10 million illegal steroid operation, dropped a bombshell in an interview with filmmaker Jon Bravo.
