    • Julie Brar was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Julie went to theatre school in Los Angeles. She has split her time between L.A, Toronto and Vancouver. Julie is a Toronto based actor, writer and producer who works in film, television and theatre. Some of Julie's television credits include a recurring role on Lost Girl, as well as roles on Beauty and the Beast, and Fringe. She made her feature film debut in Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief. In addition to acting Julie writes and produces her own independent projects. Some of her writing/producing/acting credits include SHIVA (short film featured in VISAFF and Filmi), Om Sweet Om (web series) and The Very Very Girl (Toronto Fringe 2013). The Very Very Girl was a solo theatre piece in which Julie played six different characters, both male and female with multiple accents. Julie is co-founder of Jet Girls Productions along with Marianne Sawchuk. Their first production as a team was an all female Glengarry Glen Ross in Toronto April 2015. The show sold out every single night of the run garnering great reviews along the way. Julie's other passions include travel, great vegan food, ashtanga yoga and riding her motorcycle.
