Mika Brzezinski was in tears of laughter on Thursday’s (May 15) episode of Morning Joe as the panel discussed Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s appearance before members of Congress on Wednesday (May 14). “Health and Human Services secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced tough questions during two congressional hearings yesterday,” Brzezinski said on Thursday’s show. Her husband and co-host Joe Scarborough then interrupted, saying, “Did anyone ask him about swimming in Rock Creek and floating in piles of [inaudible] all around him, with his children?” “I was wondering about that… he was completely submerged,” Brzezinski responded as fellow panelists Jonathan Lemire and Willie Geist laughed. The hosts were referencing a post Rfk Jr. made on X on Sunday (May 11), where he revealed that he spent Mother’s Day swimming with his family in Washington, D.C.’s Rock Creek. “Mother’s Day hike in Dumbarton Oaks Park with Amaryllis, Bobby, Kick,...

Hhs Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. marked Mother’s Day by taking a dip with his grandchildren in a creek at a D.C. park. He posted wholesome pictures of the outing to X. The problem? Swimming in the water is banned “due to high bacteria levels”. “Mother’s Day hike in Dumbarton Oaks Park with Amaryllis, Bobby, Kick, and Jackson, and a swim with my grandchildren, Bobcat and Cassius in Rock Creek,” Kennedy wrote on X, alongside the photos. According to the National Park Service, however, swimming in Rock Creek is not allowed “due to high bacteria levels.” A 2022 water-quality study showed high levels of E. coli and fecal contamination in Rock Creek.

The following contains spoilers for Dr. Stone Season 4, Episode 6, "Science is Elegant," now streaming on Crunchyroll.
Season 4, Episode 6 of the new Dr. Stone anime season, builds on the tension and suspense of Episode 5 in fun, creative ways, all while leaving something on the table for Episode 7 and beyond. By now, the war with Dr. Xeno's North American colony is in full swing, and like the episode before, "Science is Elegant" does a fine job setting up the climax, though the setup shouldn't last too much longer, ideally.
Episode 6 is a direct continuation of what Episode 5 did as Senku Ishigami and Dr. Xeno move their pieces around the board before any blood can be drawn, and it does more right than wrong, though it's also not peak entertainment in the Dr. Stone anime. Episode 5 does a good enough job adding a few new pieces and ideas to the board to make it worthwhile,...

Throughout his extensive career of long-form journalism, novels, and memorable television interviews, Dr. Hunter S. Thompson's words have spread across generations, inspiring writers and activists alike to truly think outside the box and fight for their beliefs. There have been very few filmmakers that have taken a stab at the eccentric journalist's escapades, but those who have followed one common theme. Rather than highlighting the writer's literary prowess and lifetime achievements in the field, they ultimately chose to place focus on Thompson's drug-riddled persona, Raoul Duke.

The Kingdom of Science characters receive a makeover in the latest episode of Dr. Stone, but some are better than others.
Dr. Stone is currently in the midst of its third season, with the latest episode -- "Beautiful Science," -- following a collection of the main cast as they attempt to infiltrate the ranks of a new enemy. Their mission required them to turn Kohaku, the resident warrior, into a "cute girl" so she could be selected alongside their new ally Amarillys to join the "Master's Selection" and enter the enemy's headquarters. However, after getting her hands on some makeup, Kohaku ended up turning herself into a monster.

Dr. Stone's third season is a time of incredible exploration and all-new technology, with protagonist Senku Ishigami building an entire ship to cross the sea and visit the island that Byakuya Ishigami had once inhabited. There, on the supposedly deserted island, Senku confronts his oldest and most terrifying enemy: petrification.
Senku once believed that the petrification event had been a unique phenomenon in the 21st century, but now it's happening again, and much more deliberately this time. All the evidence suggests that petrification is not a random act of nature but rather a weapon that some unseen party, perhaps Why-Man, is using to fight Senku's Kingdom of Science at every turn.
