Breaking records 33 seasons into a series isn’t an easy task. But it’s one “Dancing With the Stars” has done three times this season. And on Nov. 12, the reality competition series will hit 500 episodes.

Since its 2005 debut, the series has featured 51 professional dancers and 394 stars and taken home 21 Emmys. Still, it’s hitting new milestones. During Season 33, the show has broken voting records three times, with the latest episode seeing more than 19 million votes. It’s the No. 1 entertainment program on broadcast in adults 18-49 with a 0.69 rating in Live+Same Day. The show has grown significantly in Live+35, with this season’s premiere currently at 8.1 million viewers and a 1.54 rating, up over 60% in total viewers and over 100% in the key demo compared to its Live+Same Day performance.

Former Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron recently revealed what he’s missed the most since leaving the show.

Bergeron famously hosted the dance competition show for its first 28 seasons, with various celebrities winning.

During that time, Bergeron saw several changes to his co-host with Lisa Canning, Samantha Harris, Brooke Burke, and Erin Andrews in the role for various seasons.

Model and television star Tyra Banks replaced him as host for Season 29 and remained there for three seasons before leaving the show.

After departing his Dancing with the Stars hosting gig in 2020, the TV personality joked that “the paycheck” is what he misses most about his 15 years on the show, as he was honored with the inaugural Sam Rubin Award at Saturday’s 6th Critics Choice Real TV Awards in Los Angeles.

“There are some people I miss,” Bergeron told E! News at the awards show. “But I’m really happy not hosting.”

Meanwhile, Bergeron hasn’t been keeping up with the ABC competition series. “To be honest, I never watched it when I was hosting it. I watched it while I was there, obviously, but I never watched it as a TV show,” he admitted.

Bergeron announced his exit from DWTS in 2020, along with co-host Erin Andrews, as ABC said the show was going in “a new creative direction.

Speaking with the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, Bergeron detailed his perspective of the behind-the-scenes conversations that led to his ouster after hosting the hit show for 15 years.

Bergeron says that leading up to the fateful year, he had signed a new contract for three seasons. The Daily Journal reported his death but did not give details.

During his 55-year career, Grossman represented clients including Mariah Carey, Tommy Hilfiger, Dr. Dre, Larry King, Grupo Televisa, Apple Computer, Cirque du Soleil and Blockbuster in myriad legal matters. Taylor Swift’s presence in the bleachers — or rather, the luxury suite — to support Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was the talk of social media over the weekend, and even quarterback Patrick Mahomes was part of the conversation.

Swift attended the team’s game against the Chicago Bears at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, with Fox’s cameras cutting to the singer frequently during the broadcast. Her visit followed media reports of a budding romance between herself and tight end Kelce, whose own third-quarter touchdown helped his team wallop the opposing squad 41-10.

After the game, Mahomes was asked during a press conference about Swift’s presence. “She’s a tremendous singer, tremendous at everything she does,” the reigning NFL Mvp told reporters. “I haven’t got to meet her, but I guess if she ends up being with Travis, then I’ll probably get to meet her at some point.

If there’s one thing Taylor Swift is going to do, it’s commit to the bit and see where it goes. On Sunday night, the singer attended the Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift attending a football game could count as a bit all on its own, but it was her being buddied up with Travis Kelce‘s mom the whole night amid rumors that she’s dating the tight end that really shifted Twitter (or X, whatever you want to call it) into comedy mode.

Dancing With the Stars formally kicked off its post-Tyra Banks chapter on Monday with the release of Season 32’s official poster, which places new hosting duo Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough front and center.

As previously reported, Hough stepped in for Banks, whose departure after three seasons was announced in March. (Ribeiro has been with DWTS since Season 31.)

Fox made its annual upfront pitch to advertisers at the Manhattan Center on Monday afternoon, pushing the messages of Fox Entertainment, Tubi, Fox News, and Fox Sports, all while promising the audience that don’t worry, we’ll get you hammered soon.

Coming off of presentations hampered by the pandemic in recent years, Fox was back in nearly full force, with the writers’ strike limiting the number of network stars in attendance. The event also featured some football antics courtesy of Rob Gronkowski and some well-placed cursing by Gordon Ramsay.

A Galaxy of Stars

It was standing-room only crowd at the Fox upfront — mostly because there was no place to sit. But there were cocktails and lots of f-bombs from Gordon Ramsay, who helped to keep the 55-minute presentation moving at NYC’s Manhattan Center Monday.

Just like it did last year, Fox unveiled its 2023-24 content slate without showing a schedule. Instead, there was lots of small talk about Fox Sports, Fox News, and Tubi. Here were some of the highlights:

There was an opening “act” featuring dancers in space suits, football uniforms and Masked Singer costumes. That’s all we have to say about that.

Fox Sportscaster Michael Strahan and an f-bomb dropping Gordon Ramsay opened the presentation by standing on top of a bar in the center of NYC’s Manhattan Center. Yes folks, presentation-goers could load up on booze — and stay standing — while seeing what the “Fox Community” has to offer.

“Dancing With the Stars” is coming back to ABC for Season 32, Variety has confirmed with sources.

The move to bring the reality competition series back to the broadcast network comes after the show aired one season exclusively on streamer Disney+. For its upcoming season, the show will air on ABC while also streaming on Disney+. In addition, the show will be available the day after its linear debut on Hulu.

Reps for Disney declined to comment.

The move to bring the show back to broadcast is not altogether a surprise, particularly given the news that the Writers Guild of America (WGA) officially called for a strike against the major Hollywood studios for the first time in 15 years. With the strike, scripted TV production is likely to be impacted, meaning unscripted fare like “Dancing With the Stars” will become even more important to networks and streamers.

Big changes have affected DWTS before. However, they have not always been well-received by fans. Months after season 28 ended, it was revealed longtime host Tom Bergeron had declared his final ballroom winner. Out with Bergeron was his co-host, Erin Andrews, a former DWTS competitor.

Banks faced mixed reactions from fans of the series during her first year as the series’ host. Many viewers had difficulty warming up to the former supermodel.

After getting a thumbs up from Tyra Banks, incoming “Dancing with the Stars” co-host Julianne Hough has now gotten the seal of approval from the Og host himself, Tom Bergeron.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Bergeron posted a split of an old photo of himself, Hough and her brother Derek Hough, and a photo of himself and Alfonso Ribeiro, the Season 19 champ and Hough’s co-host who joined last season as co-host alongside Banks. “Glad the show’s in good hands. Their feet ain’t bad, either,” Bergeron wrote.
