It’s the dawn of a new age of heroes, and Metropolis has just met its first. But as Daily Planet intern Clark Kent – working alongside reporter Lois Lane – secretly wields his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good, there’s even greater trouble on the horizon. Follow the budding hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and fights for his life to halt the attack of power-hungry alien parasite.
Superman: Man of Tomorrow originally debuted on DVD and Blu-ray back in 2020 and was, at the time, a reboot of DC’s “Animated Universe”, which removed all continuity from the “The New 52” series of animated features, which tied into the comics continuity of the same name.

Quick Links What Is Jurassic World: Chaos Theory's Leucistic Baryonyx? Could The Leucistic Baryonyx Return In Jurassic World Movies?
In the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, there were many terrifying dinosaurs. Some have been cloned from mosquito DNA to create carbon copies, such as the T-Rex, the Mosasaurus, and many more. Others have been genetically modified into hybrids, such as the Indominus Rex.
Despite these different breeds, they are all pretty much the same in that they operate in one primal way: they rely on natural instincts. This makes these dinosaurs more ferocious, but they are "normal" in the sense that they don't have any major x-factors. That has changed in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 2, which creates the scariest dinosaur yet: the Leucistic Baryonyx.

The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!

DC Studios co-chair and co-ceo James Gunn recently confirmed that the upcoming animated adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths will not have anything to do with the transition of the DC Extended Universe into the DC Universe.
Responding to a fan on Threads who asked if the Crisis on Infinite Earths animated trilogy would have anything to do with the start of the Dcu, Gunn revealed that "They do not." Announced at the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con alongside an animated adaptation of Watchmen, the forthcoming animated project will be based on the 1980s 12-issue limited comic book series that dealt with the DC Multiverse being destroyed by the Anti-Monitor. Between the live action reboot of Mortal Kombat and my growing appreciation of the animated Batman films it was pretty much a given that I would check out another of Warner’s animated offerings, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms begins with a couple fleeing through deserted streets before being confronted by a trio of nasty looking creatures. They kill the couple but Raiden (Dave B. Mitchell; Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous) arrives in time to save their baby whom the mother names Liu Kang with her dying breath.
We’re barely a minute in and already there’s a decapitation and a pair of eyes exploding from their sockets.

This Marvel’s What If? review contains spoilers.
Marvel’s What If? Episode 4
What If…? episode four is here. While many fans were likely expecting to see Captain Carter show up as soon as they realized it was a Doctor Strange story, that is not the case. Instead, we get a romantic tragedy which pits two versions of Stephen against each other in order to save the woman that they love.
It’s a cosmic ride through Strange’s own arrogance that has absolutely world ending consequences. It’s also, interestingly, the second episode where we see a hero turn to the dark side. It might not mean anything but we definitely think it’s worth noting.
If you’ve been reading our reviews, you’ll know we have a new format for our What If…? coverage which we hope will work as both an in depth breakdown and easy...

Every reboot of Superman tries something different, striving to find a fresh approach to the material, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow is no different. This direct-to-video release, out now from Warner Home Entertainment, is intended as the opening chapter in a new continuity, a Rebirth, as it were, of the DC Animated Universe.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow is set to reintroduce audiences to the animated world of DC following the events of this year's Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, which served as the culmination of the most recent continuity. A newly released scene from the upcoming animated feature gives us a good idea of what to expect from this take on Superman's origin story, as well as the change in animation style.
The scene shows a young Clark Kent as he struggles to find his superhero identity, with the soon-to-be Man of Steel debuting a very different costume to what fans of the DC icon are used to. Abandoning the familiar red cape and instead simply wearing dark clothing, a black jacket, helmet and goggles, this version of Superman is far from the eventual brightly colored Man of Tomorrow that will emerge. If there’s one thing DC loves, it’s reboots. The comics cycle through their continuity in one form or another every decade or so, the movies…well…that’s a whole thing, too. So of course now it’s time for the DC animated movies to get a fresh start. And this time, they’re doing it with the hero who should pretty much always be the center of these things: Superman.
Since 2014, there have been 20 DC Universe Animated Original Movies, most of which existed in a shared continuity that began with Justice League: War and culminated in this year’s Justice League Dark: Apokalips War. With that story arc now complete, Superman: Man of Tomorrow will set up a new continuity for future movies. Butch Lukic is the new Supervising Producer for these DC movies, with Chris Palmer directing Man of Tomorrow.

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the upcoming DC animated movie, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, giving us a glimpse of the new direction of the DC animated universe following the events of Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, which served as the culmination of the continuity that began at the end of 2013's Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.

The footage highlights the overall story, which will involve the beginnings of Superman as he fends off several DC villains, as well as the characters and new animation style. The plot follows Clark Kent as a "Daily Planet intern," taking "learning-on-the-job to new extremes when Lobo and Parasite set their sights on Metropolis," says the official plot synopsis.
