The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has unveiled the digital and physical release dates for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three. The upcoming animated movie will be the tenth and final installment in the Tomorrowverse.

Per ComingSoon.net, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three will be released on digital platforms on July 16, 2024. The animated movie will then be released on 4K Ultra HD (in limited edition SteelBook packaging) and Blu-ray the following week on July 23, 2024. Both the digital and physical releases will include the special features "A Multiverse of Inspiration" and "Jon and John: Stewart and Constantine." The Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy is based on the 1980s 12-issue limited comic book series of the same name by Marv Wolfman and George Prez.

The late Kevin Conroy was able to provide one last portrayal of Batman before the actor's death in 2022. It will be heard in the upcoming animated sequel Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three, which will also feature Batman: The Animated Series co-star Mark Hamill as Joker.

A new teaser trailer for the film shared by Warner Bros. Entertainment reveals a sneak peek at the final reunion between Conroy and Hamill. Though brief, there's a moment that features Batman confronting Joker, and the supervillain's laughter can be heard as the Caped Crusader attacks. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One is, the first part of a trilogy adapting one of the major milestones in the history of DC Comics and ending the “Tomorrowverse” series of movies. For those unfamiliar with it, Crisis on Infinite Earths was a comic book crossover original published from 1985 to 1986 as a 12-issue limited series, with events spilling over into other comics. It was written by Marv Wolfman and drawn by George Pérez, to whom this adaptation is dedicated. It has since been reprinted in other formats including a graphic novel and as part of TV’s “Arrowverse” in 2019.

DC Studios co-chair and co-ceo James Gunn recently confirmed that the upcoming animated adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths will not have anything to do with the transition of the DC Extended Universe into the DC Universe.

Responding to a fan on Threads who asked if the Crisis on Infinite Earths animated trilogy would have anything to do with the start of the Dcu, Gunn revealed that "They do not." Announced at the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con alongside an animated adaptation of Watchmen, the forthcoming animated project will be based on the 1980s 12-issue limited comic book series that dealt with the DC Multiverse being destroyed by the Anti-Monitor. After the remaining heroes and villains team up, they are able to stop the Anti-Monitor and create a single Earth.

DC Comics unveiled its lineup for San Diego Comic-Con 2023, which includes a world premiere screening of Justice League: Warworld.

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is inviting fans to be the first to see its all-new, feature-length film, Justice League: Warworld, at Sdcc 2023 on Friday, July 21. The world premiere will take place in Ballroom 20 from 9:00 to 11:00 pm. In the R-rated film, which is part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies banner, Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman find themselves in mysterious lands and precarious circumstances with no memory of how they arrived there and only vague recollections of their true selves. According to Bloody Disgusting, Justice League: Warworld has officially been rated R for "some bloody violence." This makes it the second film in DC and Warner Bros. Animation's "Tomorrowverse" to carry an R rating, following 2021's Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two. Warworld was initially announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The film's voice cast was announced just a few days ago, the headliners being Jensen Ackles as Batman/Officer Wayne, Stana Katic as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Darren Criss as Superman/Agent Kent.

The Justice League is going to war. The upcoming summer animated home entertainment release Justice League: Warworld has unveiled its cast, which is toplined by Jensen Ackles as Batman/Officer Wayne, Stana Katic as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Darren Criss as Superman/Agent Kent.

Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment are behind the project.

The official synopsis reads: “Until now, the Justice League has been a loose association of superpowered individuals. But when they are swept away to Warworld, a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the others must somehow unite to form an unbeatable resistance able to lead an entire planet to freedom.”

Between the live action reboot of Mortal Kombat and my growing appreciation of the animated Batman films it was pretty much a given that I would check out another of Warner’s animated offerings, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms begins with a couple fleeing through deserted streets before being confronted by a trio of nasty looking creatures. They kill the couple but Raiden (Dave B. Mitchell; Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous) arrives in time to save their baby whom the mother names Liu Kang with her dying breath.

We’re barely a minute in and already there’s a decapitation and a pair of eyes exploding from their sockets.

What If…? episode four is here. While many fans were likely expecting to see Captain Carter show up as soon as they realized it was a Doctor Strange story, that is not the case. Instead, we get a romantic tragedy which pits two versions of Stephen against each other in order to save the woman that they love.

It’s a cosmic ride through Strange’s own arrogance that has absolutely world ending consequences. It’s also, interestingly, the second episode where we see a hero turn to the dark side. It might not mean anything but we definitely think it’s worth noting.

Other than the destruction of Krypton, baby Kal-El being raised by the Kents, and Clark (Darren Criss) arriving gin Metropolis as an adult, everything else is a modern take. If there’s one thing DC loves, it’s reboots. The comics cycle through their continuity in one form or another every decade or so, the movies…well…that’s a whole thing, too. So of course now it’s time for the DC animated movies to get a fresh start. And this time, they’re doing it with the hero who should pretty much always be the center of these things: Superman.

Since 2014, there have been 20 DC Universe Animated Original Movies, most of which existed in a shared continuity that began with Justice League: War and culminated in this year’s Justice League Dark: Apokalips War. With that story arc now complete, Superman: Man of Tomorrow will set up a new continuity for future movies. Butch Lukic is the new Supervising Producer for these DC movies, with Chris Palmer directing Man of Tomorrow.

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the upcoming DC animated movie, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, giving us a glimpse of the new direction of the DC animated universe following the events of Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, which served as the culmination of the continuity that began at the end of 2013's Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.

The trailer for Superman: Man of Tomorrow gives fans a good idea of what to expect from this retelling of the Man of Steel's origin story. The footage highlights the overall story, which will involve the beginnings of Superman as he fends off several DC villains, as well as the characters and new animation style. The plot follows Clark Kent as a "Daily Planet intern," taking "learning-on-the-job to new extremes when Lobo and Parasite set their sights on Metropolis," says the official plot synopsis.

It wasn’t too long ago that we got our hands on Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, but DC aren’t ones to rest on their laurels and are already hard at work on Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which should be with us this summer (an exact date has yet to be revealed).

The animated effort will see a young Clark Kent growing into his powers and taking the first steps towards his nascent career as a superhero while trying to adjust to his new job as a Daily Planet intern. Emmy Award-winning actor Darren Criss will voice Kal-El, while fellow American Horror Story alum Zachary Quinto is on board to play his nemesis Lex Luthor. Alexandra Daddario, meanwhile, is Lois Lane.
