John Cena Turned Heel But These 5 WWE Legends Never Did
Image
The world of WWE has seen a lot of shockers, and John Cena’s recent return to the ring and turning heel was yet another one of them. There have been a lot of babyface/heel turns in the wrestling world over the years that have struck as surprising to fans, with some striking better as faces than heels while others being good at both. But it does not strip it of the unpredictability at all.

Cena’s turning heel, for one, really did serve as a stunning element because it was one of the most unexpected events ever for the ultimate babyface. At the Elimination Chamber 2025, he chose to align with The Rock and attack Cody Rhodes, gaining widespread attention by ending his nearly 20-year run as a face as he broke the record for the longest WWE face run before turning heel.

Vince and Linda McMahon Named in New ‘Ring Boy’ Sex Abuse Lawsuit Against WWE
Image
On Wednesday, five men who had worked as “ring boys” for World Wrestling Entertainment as young teenagers in the 1980s filed a lawsuit alleging that they were groomed and sexually abused by ring crew boss and ring announcer Mel Phillips on the company’s watch. The suit, filed by five John Does, names WWE, parent company Tko Group Holdings, and WWE co-founders/former executives Vince and Linda McMahon as defendants. (Phillips died in 2012.) The suit paints a picture of Phillips as someone to whom WWE gave unfettered access to kids...

10 Lowest Points in Vince McMahon's Career
Image
Netflix's Mr. McMahon documentary blurred the lines between the former WWE Chairman and the villain he played on television. The docuseries tries hard to convince the viewer that Vince was just as tyrannical in real life as he was onscreen. Then again, when the doc has such shocking reveals, as Vince demanding his son Shane to stab him at dinner, it didn't need to try hard to make that impression.

Whether his sins were behind closed doors or in front of the public's eyes, there's plenty to judge Vincent Kennedy McMahon about. As much as the high points of his career made him the billionaire he is today, the low points almost made him lose everything. The following are just a few examples of the more questionable Vince McMahon actions, from TV antics to much more serious things, that continue to leave a bad taste in people's mouths to this day.

Young Rock Recap: Dwayne Makes His Ring Debut and Meets Stone Cold
Image
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wasn’t born a wrestling star. He had to become one, and Tuesday’s Young Rock heartwarmingly showed fans how his road to stardom in the ring began.

It started with a call from Pat Patterson in 1996, who wanted Dwayne to fight in a dark match in Corpus Christi, Texas, per Vince McMahon’s request. Dwayne, of course, said yes to his first match, but he didn’t have any gear. So he had to borrow his uncle King Tonga’s trunks (which were too big) and his father Rocky’s boots (which were too small...

Image
We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Bridgerton, WeCrashed, Killing Eve, Station 19 and Atlanta!

1 | Full Bridgerton spoilers ahead! Did you feel cheated because the wedding from The Viscount Who Loved Me, between Anthony and Kate, wasn’t shown? How do feel about Edwina’s fate? Wresting MediaCon 2018 – In Pictures
Wrestling Travel, the World’s only travel company specifically focused on wrestling events and building a wrestling-based community for fans, welcomed the biggest independent wrestling convention in UK history to Manchester and didn’t disappoint!

Wresting MediaCon 2018 took over Bec Arena in Trafford Park for two days of live wrestling shows, superstar panel Q&As, meet & greet opportunities, live YouTube stage shows and welcomed over 1300 people through the doors over the weekend. The fans got up close and personal, meeting two of the most important names in pro-wrestling as Jeff Jarrett and Pat Patterson wowed the crowds whilst Manchesters very own Lana Austin had the biggest opportunity of her career facing Su Yung of Impact Wrestling (see our review of that right here).

There was plenty of action exclusive to the live audience as UK sensation Nick Aldis announced that he’d be invoking his rematch clause against Cody Rhodes.

Every Royal Rumble in WWE History Ranked
Gavin Jasper Jan 13, 2020

With WWE Royal Rumble 2020 almost upon us, we look at every match and see the best and worst of what they had to offer.

In 2003, a rapping John Cena said it best. “Besides open mics, one thing that gets me boiled is an old school 30-man battle royal.” Actually, he didn’t say that best at all! What was I thinking quoting him?

What I mean to say is that the Royal Rumble match is one of the best things WWE has had going for them since the '80s. Pat Patterson’s brainchild has given us well over a day’s worth of footage and a lifetime of great memories. WWE may act like the Royal Rumble is the appetizer to WrestleMania’s main course, but as far as I’m concerned, the Rumble is the main course and Mania is just a lengthy dessert.

As...
