WWE has proven itself not only to be the global juggernaut of wrestling where careers are made and legacies are defined, but a place for athletes to find love as well. Over the years, the fans have seen various couples form within the WWE locker room and many of them have materialised into eternal bonds.
The same has been the case with WWE Nxt stars Tatum Paxley and Javier Bernal. The duo met during WWE Tryouts in Las Vegas and forged a bond over the years. However, while Paxley continues to be a part of the developmental territory, Bernal was released from the company this year.

The new regime of WWE, led by Nick Khan and Triple H under the Tko banner, has touched unprecedented heights of success. One of the masterstrokes pulled by the company was the acquisition of the Lucha Libre promotion Aaa. The deal was announced during the WrestleMania 41 festivities and gained major praise from fans.
Since then, the two promotions have produced some events in collaboration, and the fans have seen crossovers between the two brands. They will see it once again, as the Aaa promotion announced via their Instagram that the main roster, Natalya, and Nxt star Lola Vice will be competing at their upcoming event.

The WWE locker room is unpredictable. One moment you are at the peak of your abilities or an emerging talent destined to become the next big thing, and in the very next moment, you are on the sidelines.
Something of a similar sort occurred with several superstars this year. They had promising careers and great in-ring abilities, but despite that, WWE decided to release them this year.
In light of a successful all-women’s Ple event, WWE Evolution, and the rise of the women’s division in the company, here are 7 female WWE superstars who were released by the company this year, despite their hard work and commitment inside the squared circle.

Over the years, WWE introduced a flurry of intriguing gimmicks. From Seth Rollins’ Joker to Bray Wyatt’s Eater of Worlds, from The Undertaker’s Phenom to Kane’s Big Red Machine, the list is endless. However, veering off the trajectory of the main roster characters, WWE introduced a handful of special characters to tell stories that would aid the major superstars in getting the mileage they were looking forward to. One of them was Eugene.
Nick Dinsmore, popularly known as Eugene, was introduced as a wrestling savant with a developmental disability. The kind of character depth that was needed to take the role forward needed more than wrestling. It required acting brilliance while perfectly aligning oneself with the role, considering the emotional challenge that was inherent in his. Eugene did an incredible job with the same.

Big E became one of the modern era’s most popular and captivating WWE superstars. He, along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, formed one of the most entertaining and cohesive units in WWE history, The New Day, and they stayed together for a decade. In this journey, E also found love with a woman named Kris Yim.
Furthermore, Kris herself has an interesting wrestling connection. That could have been a possible reason for Kris to show that if given the microphone or chance to deliver a promo, she could easily surpass her husband and be even more savage than him, as seen in an exchange with E’s former friend, Xavier Woods.

Ronda Rousey is one of the most well-known names in the combat sports community. She has left her mark in both WWE and the UFC, and also went on to work in some of the biggest Hollywood franchises. She is undoubtedly one of the greatest women fighters in history, and, naturally, she was a part of the first-ever all-women WrestleMania main event in history.
Ronda Rousey took on two of the biggest names in WWE’s women’s division, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, in a winner-takes-all match in WrestleMania 35. The bout ended with Lynch picking up the victory, but not without a massive controversy. Let’s take a look at what actually happened that night.

Ronda Rousey has been consistently bashing WWE since she departed from the franchise. There are several instances in which the former wrestler expressed her disappointment with the creative team of the WWE.
Rousey made her appearance in a podcast with Denise Salcedo, where she straight pointed fingers at the authority and decision maker of the wrestling franchise, Vince McMahon, who could have made some wrong decisions with her bookings.
Ronda Rousey had some major differences during McMahon’s regime, but she revealed that she would have loved to work under the regime of Triple H.

The WWE creative team has been constantly making drastic decisions post-WrestleMania 41. They have released certain superstars from their roster, and some of these releases are almost a shock. Triple H and the WWE recently released Dakota Kai, a promising talent in the WWE and a two-time tag team champion.
The release of Dakota Kai was not expected, and a former WWE wrestler, Sonya Deville, shared her views on the following case. Deville could be the person who can understand the injustice that happened to Kai, as she was also released by the WWE three months back abruptly. Dakota Kai suffered several injuries but still had a strong passion for competing inside the ring, and this decision to release her could kill her dreams.

WWE has recently let go of a large number of employees, including backstage staff and officials. They have also released some well-known wrestlers like Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and many others from both the main roster and Nxt.
WWE hasn’t explained why they are letting go of so many people, but it seems to be a cost-cutting move. It remains to be seen if they have finished making cuts or if more employees will be let go. Let’s take a look at all the wrestlers WWE has offloaded recently.

A series of wrestlers were just released from WWE. The news of more than 15 Superstars being released came on May 2. The day before, reports first started to surface of company budget cuts surrounding staff members in a non-wrestling capacity. It was reported that at least 10-12 staffers were let go from the company, potentially more. Among them is Christine Lubrano, the former Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations.
The following day, reports slowly started to surface that revealed that WWE had started to cut Superstars from the internal roster across all brands. Individual names - many of whom would confirm their releases on social media - were reported upon throughout the day. Warhammer 40,000 is enjoying newfound mainstream popularity, with plenty of options on how to best dive into this deep, dark sci-fi world. The world of Warhammer 40K was showcased in the hit video game Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and is about to appear in an episode of the new Amazon Prime series Secret Level. Plus, celebrities like Henry Cavill and Shayna Baszler frequently mention their love of the grimdark universe, with the former set to appear in a Warhammer 40K movie adaptation.
Warhammer 40K is both a tabletop miniatures game and an expansive sci-fi world set in a dark and war-torn future universe. The miniatures game involves building armies made up of dozens of miniatures and battling over objectives over the course of five rounds. Match #1: Bron Breakker def. Ilja Dragunov The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bron Breakker brutalized Ilja Dragunov from the offset as both Superstars battled to become No. 1 Contender to Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. Dragunov showed off his strength, but Breakker’s barbarity was too much as he dropped Dragunov ribs-first onto the steel ring post. Dragunov connected with a superplex and an H-Bomb, but damage to his rib cage from earlier in the match prevented The Mad Dragon from capitalizing. After Breakker hit Dragunov with a brutal Spear, Dragunov was ruled out of the contest, and Breakker was declared the winner.

Sheamus followed up with a huge White Noise in an incredible feat of strength but was unable to garner the win. Reed showcased his own strength as well, catching Sheamus to hit a huge powerbomb for a close two-count. 2024 has been fantastic so far for WWE as, one after another; the company is delivering successful big events. Now, before we move towards the highly anticipated SummerSlam, the promotion is coming up next with two big live events, one of which is Clash At The Castle. After the super success of the first edition, the second edition is going to take place soon. Below is all you need to know about it!
For those who don’t know, the debut edition of the event took place in 2022. It enjoyed good response from fans, both through digital viewership and actual attendance at the venue. Back then, it was headlined by Drew McIntyre, when he challenged for the Undisputed Championship. Now, he’s back in the picture as he’s challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Things are heating up in the WWE Nxt women’s division, and a big reason for that is Miami’s spicy Lola Vice (Valerie Loureda). The Mma fighter has made a smooth transition into pro wrestling thanks to her innate charisma and ability to entertain audiences. However, at the Nxt Battleground: Las Vegas it’ll be all business as she competes in the brutal Nxt Underground match against fellow fighter Shayna Baszler. Vice defeated the legendary Natalya in what was the first time two women faced off in the environment. The 25-year-old is looking for a similar result against her former training partner. This time around brings a new atmosphere with the Peacock Premium Live Event (Ple) taking place in the UFC Apex. The venue has held Power Slap and UFC events in the past, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic without fans. It’s new, yet familiar territory for the participants.

After New Day nullified McDonagh, #DIY used their tandem offense to take out “Dirty” Dom, but it didn’t bode well for Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa after that exchange. Señor Money in The Bank tagged into the match and ran roughshod over his competition before hitting Ciampa with a ring-shattering Razor’s Edge to earn the victory for his team.

Rhea Ripley stands out as one of the most powerful female wrestlers globally today. Her remarkable physique, characterized by significant muscle mass, sets her apart from the average wrestler. This impressive physique is the result of rigorous gym sessions and a disciplined diet.
Initially, Ripley’s body was noticeably leaner when she began her career, lacking the muscular definition that now defines her. Over the years, her physique has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving impressively to its current state.
Rhea Ripley’s Insane Body Transformation Is Truly Inspirational
What a difference seven years can make. The evolution of a WWE Superstar throughout their career is something fans truly appreciate, and Rhea Ripley exemplifies this notion perfectly. Her journey demonstrates that the early stages of a wrestler’s career may not accurately depict the Superstar they’ll become in the future. However, this transformation hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Ripley.

Although the wrestler Ronda Rousey has been out of the game for some time now, a recent report might suggest why that is so. It turns out that by the time she left WWE, she had been building bitterness towards its management, but more specifically towards Vince McMahon. Whereas Dana White, despite being her boss in the UFC, was the one she held in high regard. Here is what happened.
Ronda Rousey in The Expendable Ronda Rousey Slams Vince McMahon in Her New Book!
Ronda Rousey has had a diverse career, to say the least, from dominating the WWE ring to the octagon in the UFC, not to mention her aceivement as an Olympic judo medalist. But behind those exciting chapters lies one filled with joy,...

Professional wrestler, Ronda Rousey, has starred in quite a few gripping Hollywood projects, including Fast & Furious 7 as Kara. Before becoming who she is today, Ronda Rousey was the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in Judo at the Summer Olympics (2008). Ten years later, the wrestler began her journey in professional wrestling and has since won many feats going forward. Ronda Rousey’s name cannot be mentioned without bringing up her longtime close friend and wrestler, Shayna Baszler.
Wrestler Ronda Rousey
Together, the two of them have been one of WWE’s top female duos as they were practically undefeatable when they worked together. That was until Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank. Thus began a feud between the two friends which eventually led to them fighting each other at the SummerSlam (2023). Unfortunately, the fans weren’t big fans of the match...

Match #1: Drew McIntyre def. Cody Rhodes The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With WrestleMania Xl fast approaching, Cody Rhodes is still severely undermanned in his quest to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The American Nightmare took on Drew McIntyre, but after an incredible back-and-forth featuring a pedigree and an incredible Cody Cutter, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa arrived and cost Rhodes the win, much to the delight of The Scottish Warrior. After the match, while Rhodes tended his wounds in the backstage area, World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins once again offered his services, leading to a discussion between the two Superstars.
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Last Chance Battle Royal – Winner: Raquel Rodriguez The following is courtesy of wwe.
