Antonio is a London-based award-winning editor and filmmaker (a full member of the British Film Editors Association - BFE - and Sundance alumnus). Recently, he was the editor of The Black Book by Editi Effiong, ranking 3rd on Netflix most viewed films globally (Oct 2023), winning the Best Editor AMVCA award in 2024. Other feature film editor credits include "No Vacancies" by Wyndham Price" (2022- ), Europa, "Based on a True Story" by Kivu Ruhorahoza (IDFA 2019), "Living in Bondage: Breaking Free" by Steve Gukas, "Love is Thicker than Water" by Emily Harris and Ate de Jong, "93 Days" by Steve Gukas (Tiff 2016), "Things of the Aimless Wanderer" (Sundance 2015) and "Grey Matter"(Tribeca 2011) by Kivu Ruhorahoza. Documentary credits include "Justice Seekers" (Witness, Al Jazeera English, 2014, along with other pieces for the Guardian News & Media and other broadcasters and media organisations. He worked with Werner Herzog and Peter Zeitlinger ASC on "Queen of the Desert" creating time-lapse sequences for the film. Prior to working in film, he was the founder and artistic director of the Blue Elephant Theatre in London (1999-2006), focusing in supporting and presenting new work by playwrights from war-torn countries or countries experiencing dictatorship.
