As filming continues on Christopher Nolan's star-studded adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey in Favignana, Italy, we may have word on the character another key cast member will play in the movie.

According to Italian magazine Chi, Robert Pattinson will portray Hermes.

In ancient Greek mythology, Hermes was a mischievous deity who was known as the herald and messenger of the Olympian gods, often tasked with delivering messages and guiding souls to the underworld. He was also associated with trade, luck, fertility, animal husbandry, sleep, language, thieves, and travel.

Only Matt Damon's role as Odysseus has been confirmed, but it's believed that Tom Holland will take on the role of his son, Telemachus, with Zendaya as the goddess Athena.

Greek media site OneMan.com recently shed some light on which mythological heroes and villains a good chunk of the other actors will play.

If there is one thing that Bridgerton is good at, it is excusing the toxic behavior of its characters. Many moments in the three seasons of the series have showcased characters doing something morally wrong and then getting away with it. The perfect example of this would be what Daphne did when she found out that Simon was lying to her.

The Spider-Man: No Way Home star is believed to be playing Odysseus' (Matt Damon) son, Telemachus, though this has yet to be confirmed.

In Homer's poem, father and son spend the majority of the story apart, and only reunite right at the end. Since these photos appear to be taken from the same location Damon and Zendaya were spotted in earlier this week, there's a good chance Favignana will double for the island of Ithaca.

Holland's Spider-Man was expected to play a key role in Avengers: Doomsday, but the actor wasn't included in Marvel Studios' recent cast reveal. Though Parker could still show up (we know the entire cast wasn't unveiled), Holland simply may not have been available...

We’ve seen Matt Damon dressed in armor with an intimidating helmet, and today, we’ve got the latest looks at Tom Holland and Zendaya navigating the set of The Odyssey.

In the images posted online featuring Zendaya, the Challengers and Euphoria actress is wearing a simple yet elegant cream-colored dress. As she navigates the set’s tricky terrain, we see her smiling and laughing alongside Nolan and his talented team of production staff. While audiences could expect her outfit to be elaborate, I’m partial to the dress’s simplistic presentation. She wears it well.

Omega used a side headlock takeover. Christian flipped off Omega. Kenny lit up Blake with blistering chops. Blake blasted Kenny with a dropkick. Blake gouged the eyes of Omega and then speared Omega on the apron. Blake jumped through the ropes with an inverted tope, wiping out Kenny. Lee jumped on the apron and Kenny punched him down. Kenny nailed Blake with a snap dragon suplex, followed up with another. Kenny hit a neck breaker and then the V Trigger. Omega planted Blake with the One-Winged Angel and picked up the pinfall victory!

While certain Disney live-action remakes have been decent, or at least tolerable, others have been borderline disastrous. Thankfully, Disney is not the only company that has delved into fairy tale adaptations, as some other interpretations have been far more successful.

Whether these non-Disney efforts further empower classic characters, provide a new spin on familiar stories, or offer visual feasts, they are all absolutely worth a watch. Perhaps these ten films will serve as reminders that fairy tales can still be fresh and exciting.

Director Benh Zeitlin’s Wendy takes the tenth spot on this list because it is far from perfect but still delightfully unique and ambitious. The film focuses on the heroine, Wendy, and her friends, the “Lost Boys. ". Instead of fully transporting the children to Neverland, though, Zeitlin’s story keeps them painfully close to reality.

As work continues on Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, we now have a first look at Spider-Man: No Way Home and Dune star Zendaya on set in full costume.

We don't yet know who she will play in this retelling of the epic poem composed by Homer in the 8th Century, but the actor was spotted alongside Matt Damon (who is looking more than a little worse for wear). The Bourne star has been aged up and is rocking a pretty impressive beard, a sign perhaps that this scene is from later in the movie.

While these photos don't exactly help confirm it, rumour has it Zendaya is playing Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare.

In the story, she acts as a divine benefactor and mentor to Odysseus and his family, often appearing in disguise to subtly guide them. Athena is deeply invested in Odysseus's journey home...

There’s something heartwarming about the enduring friendship between Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The pair started out together, and they still seem to be as close as ever. While speaking with GQ, Affleck explained how their careers began to take different paths when Damon started picking his projects based on the director.

Slowly, but surely, the star-studded cast of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" is being caught on camera, yet we're still none the wiser about who most of them are playing. Aside from Matt Damon portraying the ancient hero Odysseus, King of Ithaca, on his 10-year journey home from the Trojan War, we still don't know who's fighting for or against the legendary leader. So far, we've seen a bald yet incredibly beardy Jon Bernthal, as well as set photos of Tom Holland in costume, donning leather-like armor and arm guards. Now the latest cast member to be caught on camera is Zendaya, who has been seen pottering around on set (via @ChrisNolanMedia on X). Once again, though, the photos give us little to no indication of who she's playing here.

John Krasinski will return to the Off Broadway stage this May in Angry Alan, Penelope Skinner’s critically acclaimed dark comedy that premiered at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Directing will be Sam Gold.

The one-man play, which begins a strictly limited engagement on May 23 with an official opening on Wednesday, June 11, will be the inaugural production of Studio Seaview, the Off Broadway venue owned and operated by the Seaview production company. In recent years, Seaview has become one of the premiere producers of New York stage productions, with recent shows including Romeo + Juliet, Stereophonic and the current, record-setting Good Night, And Good Luck starring George Clooney.

Some more photos from the set of Christopher Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey have been doing the rounds online, and this time we have another look at Matt Damon's Odysseus as he prepares to enter the cave of the Cyclops known as Polyphemus.

Filming for these scenes is taking place at Nestor’s Cave in Greece, and we have heard that a 6x6m mechanical animatronic puppet of Polyphemus was created for the sequence.

An actress told a court Wednesday that Noel Clarke demanded she look at him as he exposed himself after filming a sex scene in the latest round of evidence in the actor’s libel lawsuit against The Guardian.

The actress, named Penelope to hide her identity, claims Clarke also made inappropriate remarks about her appearance and sexual advances towards her. Clarke has denied all the allegations.

Bridgerton season 4 is still a ways away, but that doesn't mean us fans aren't eager for any and all updates and news as we wait for new episodes to arrive. The fourth season of the Netflix series will finally see the beloved Benedict and his Cinderella-eque love Sophie take the forefront. But, we can't forget about the leads from past seasons, many of which are returning. That includes Simone Ashley, aka Kate.

The gal who took the forefront with Jonathan Bailey who played Anthony in season 2 of the Regency-era drama recently spoke with Collider about the two of them coming back in the fourth season, their return confirmed, and she shared a filming update. Here's what she told the outlet:

The movie, an adaptation of Homer’s Greek epic, depicts Odysseus (Matt Damon) after the Trojan War and explores his momentous voyage to return home. In the photo, he is standing next to Holland, shaking hands with unidentified people, and has a noticeably shaved head and full beard. Both actors don armor, but Bernthal has more brown-colored clothing underneath, while Holland is wearing white.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is now filming in Greece, and the Oppenheimer director has assembled one of the most impressive casts we've seen in quite a while for his upcoming adaptation of Homer's epic poem.

We know that Matt Damon will take on the lead role of Odysseus, but the characters the rest of the starry cast are playing have been kept under wraps... until now.

Though some key cast members are not listed (Jon Bernthal, for example), Greek media site OneMan.com is claiming to have shed some light on which mythological heroes and villains a good chunk of the other actors will portray.

Ryan Hurst has joined the ever-growing ensemble of Christopher Nolan's swords and sandals action epic, The Odyssey, which is currently in production in Morocco, and stars Matt Damon as the legendary hero Odysseus. Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is easily one of the most anticipated films of 2026, and just like with all the Academy Award-winning director's films, he has assembled an all-star cast, and now some key roles might be revealed. While we believe the latter is playing Telemachus, the son of Odysseus, after some other recent images, there's no word on who Bernthal might be bringing to life in the fantasy epic.

Now, thanks to new images from @UnBoxPHD on X, formerly Twitter, Holland's The Odyssey's look has been revealed. One image shows Holland in a brown cloak standing just in front of Nolan on a large wooden ship, with the latter sporting a red life jacket. Crew members are visible behind the pair, attending to the ship's rigging.
