Rapper 50 Cent will face legal action in the revenge-porn case involving “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Teairra Mari, her attorney Lisa Bloom said Wednesday.

According to Bloom, Mari became a victim of revenge porn last week, when her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, allegedly used Mari’s password to post sexually explicit images on her Instagram account.

“Mari alleges that this post was designed to publicly humiliate her after she had broken up with him,” Bloom said in a statement issued Wednesday.

Teairra Mari took to Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday to say that she has become a victim of revenge porn, adding that she “will be in pursuit of justice.”

The musician and “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” personality wrote that her “social media was compromised by someone who I felt was deserving of my love and trust.”

“That person proved to be untrustworthy and posted footage of what in the moment was private and sacred,” Mari continued. “Moving forward, I recognize the need to be more cautious and discerning.”

Mari added, “My hope is for women to remain strong and dignified when they find themselves having to address hateful and juvenile acts by former lovers who find it difficult to act in an adult manner.”

I realize this is probably not important, what with all the horrible stuff going on in the world, but Rihanna totally needs a good nickname.

More specifically, she deserves a good nickname, one befitting her status as a true pop&B icon. Actress Teairra Mari was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday morning for allegedly attacking a police officer.

The pretty star, who appeared opposite rapper Bow Wow in last year's Lottery Ticket film, lashed out while she was being arrested for a DUI, according to TMZ.com.

The officer noticed "signs of intoxication" as he quizzed the 23 year old after she had rear-ended a car on her way home from a night out.

The police report suggests Mari became "combative" with the arresting officer, who suffered a minor cut to his hand during the incident.

Mari now faces multiple charges, including DUI and assault on a police officer.

At press time the actress was still in police custody.

The 2011 Bet Awards has brought a number of notable celebrities to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. On Sunday, June 26, Hollywood stars and big names in music stepped out to show their style on the green carpet. One of the anticipated guests was Justin Bieber, who arrived wearing a black shirt under jeans vest and black sunglasses.

Justin's BFFs, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith, came to the event together and showed off their eye-catching look. Jaden sported a casual style in tiger-printed pants that he paired with leather red baseball jacket, while his little sister got a bit eccentric in red leather jacket and shorts. Rick shares screen with his high-profile featured guest Lil Wayne. They orchestrate a narcotics high-tech transaction in the video. Meanwhile, Teairra takes her collaborators Mr. Vegas and Gyptian to the rooftop and shakes her rump to the dancehall jam.

"9 Piece" appears in Rick's 2011 street album "Ashes to Ashes". It originally featured T.I., but Rick added Weezy to a new version of the song this past April. "Pum Shorts" is also a mixtape track. A remix of Mr. Vegas' song, it is listed in Teairra's "Now or Never".

Teairra Mari has unveiled a music video filmed to support her song "Body". Walking into a gym in a hoodie, she is snubbed by one of the instructors, but he's soon drooling over her when she sheds her clothes, revealing her toned body in a halter top and tight pants.

"You used to act as if you didn't want it/ So I made the decision to move on," the R&B performer sings while working up a sweat with her girl friends and flirting with another chiseled guy. "Look at what you coulda had/ Look at what you'll neva get."

"Body" is lifted from her 7-song mini album "Sincerely Yours [Ep]". The CD was released to fill the gap between her 2005 debut album "Roc-a-Fella Presents Teairra Mari" and her sophomore set which is currently pushed back for an indefinite time.

Teairra Mari strips down to her undies, baring her hot bod when filming a music video for her single "Body". Rocking a long-braided hair with bangs, the R&B beauty is seen leaning back on a bed of rocks with some tropical trees on the background.

"Body" is lifted from her 7-song mini album "Sincerely Yours [Ep]". Beside filming some tropical-set scenes, Teairra also works up a sweat in the gym for the music video - she is snapped exercising with a chiseled trainer in other on-set images.

It's been more than five years since "Roc-a-Fella Presents Teairra Mari" came out in the U.S. and marked her debut in music. Her second studio album has been mentioned since last year, but it's pushed back for an indefinite time now. To tide fans over, she has so far dropped street albums in addition to the Ep.

Chicago – The comedy “Lottery Ticket,” recently released on Blu-ray and DVD, is so forgettable that it seems almost mean to pile on top of the negative reviews that greeted it in theaters. It’s not a horrible film, mostly because of the charms of its three leads, but there’s just not much nice to say about it either. It’s bearable and mildly-diverting, but with so many other great released on the market this month, don’t you want more than that faint praise?

Despite the presence of Ice Cube as both supporting player and executive producer, Lottery Ticket is no Friday. It ain't even Barbershop (or Millions, for that matter). But it's not bad for an urban comedy, generally amusing in its first hour before getting inevitably preachy on us.

One can almost see this as a passing of the torch from Cube to the no-longer-Lil' Bow Wow, from one rapper-turned-actor to another, and while Wow doesn't quite boast the former's innate charm, he's perfectly fine as the clean-cut Kevin, a would-be shoe designer who's ashamed of how everyone in his Atlanta projects is lining up to take a chance on a $370 million lotto jackpot. It's a system "designed to keep poor people poor," he insists, but once he loses his job at Foot Locker after a run-in with a local thug (Gbenga Akinnagbe), he's not above giving it a shot.
