How Much Will ‘Tracker’ Change After Those 2 Major Exits?
Image
The hit CBS show Tracker has cut its series regular cast in half heading into Season 3, but will the show be drastically different as a result? Maybe, maybe not. Tracker follows Justin Hartley‘s Colter Shaw, a rewardist who travels across the country helping find missing people. (The through line of the series involves what exactly happened the night his father died when he was a kid; he’s starting to get those answers as of the Season 2 finale.) Those cases come to him from Velma (Abby McEnany) and Teddi (Robin Weigert) in Season 1, then the latter exited, and the former in Season 2. Bobby (Eric Graise) serves as his computer expert, with Chris Lee recurring as Randy and filling in for him during Season 2 as well. Any legal help, as well as the source of a couple cases, comes from Reenie (Fiona Rene). After the finale, showrunner Elwood Reid did...

CBS’ ‘Tracker’ Sees Departures Of Series Regulars Eric Graise and Abby McEnany Ahead Of Season 3
Image
CBS’ missing persons drama Tracker just got a bit smaller.

As reported by Deadline’s sister site, TVLine, yesterday, the Justin Hartley vehicle saw the departures of series regulars Eric Graise (computer expert Bobby Exley) and Abby McEnany (business handler Velma Bruin), leaving Hartley’s one-man-operation Colter Shaw and Fiona Rene’s lawyer Reenie Green as the sole stars going into Season 3.

Based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, Tracker stars Hartley as Colter Shaw, “a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family,” per the official logline.

'Tracker' Gets a Devastating and Shocking Casting Update Ahead of Season 3
Image
Eric Graiseand Abby McEnany have officially walked away from TrackerSeason 3. As two of the show’s original cast members, the actors’ departure will mark a significant change to the show’s ensemble dynamic. This leaves the CBS series heading into its upcoming season with just two main characters: Justin Hartleyas Colter and Fiona Rene as Reenie. Graise took on the role of hacker Bobby Exley, while McEnany played Velma, one of Colter’s handlers. In their absence, though, the show seems to be honing in on Colter’s lone-wolf persona.

TV Line exclusively reported the latest exits on July 19, 2025. The news comes after Robin Weigert, who starred as Velma’s wife, Teddi, was written out of the story after Season 1. In a February 2025 interview with Parade Magazine, Hartley, who is also an executive producer on Tracker, shared that Colbert does not need a lot of people around him. According to the actor,...

Tracker Is Losing 2 Original Cast Members Before Season 3 After Season 2's Big Exit
Image
Two original Tracker cast members exit the crime drama ahead of season 3’s release. Tracker season 3's release is slated for October 19, as Justin Hartley's titular character, Colter Shaw, continues to take on challenging new cases.

As reported by TVLine, Eric Graise and Abby McEnany, who played Bobby and Velma respectively, aren’t returning for Tracker season 3. Their exits come after Robin Weigert’s. She portrayed Velma’s wife Teddi, who was written out of the show after Tracker season 1’s ending, with her disappearance being motivated by Teddi and Velma separating.

Graise and McEnany’s exits leave Tracker with only two original cast members who are series regulars – Hartley and Fiona Rene, who plays lawyer Reenie Greene. While Tracker season 2 didn’t set up Graise and McEnany’s exits, they aren’t surprising, as Bobby disappeared for several season 2 episodes, and Velma’s role was less prominent.

Tracker: Robin Weigert's Teddi Bruin Exit, Explained
Image
When "Tracker" debuted on CBS in early 2024, many critics and viewers felt that the procedural hour-long arrived fully formed. Centered on the rugged exploits of Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a "rewardist" who bops around the United States seeking to help regular folks solve mysteries or resolve disputes, the show stuck to its familiar formula and let its stars, most notably Hartley, do the heavy lifting. Shaw's tracking gifts have been honed via his time as a rough-and-tumble survivalist, but he can't provide his services without the assistance of others. During the show's first season, Shaw's small orbit of teammates included two handlers, Teddi Bruin (Robin Weigert) and Velma Bruin (Abby McEnany), the brilliant hacker Bobby Exley (Eric Graise), and lawyer Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene). It was a fun team, and they all felt locked-in for the long haul -- provided the ratings justified keeping the show on the air.

CBS’ 89% Rotten Tomatoes ‘Reacher’ Dupe Is Tracking Down Success at the Top of Streaming Charts
Image
Stop us if you've heard this one: a TV show about a stoic loner who wanders the country righting wrongs is burning up the streaming charts. But here's the twist: that show is not Prime Video's Reacher. Instead, Tracker, which just concluded its second season on CBS, is currently climbing the rankings on Paramount+. The series stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a survivalist and tracker (of course) who earns a living as a "rewardist." The series is currently ranked #6 and rising among Paramount+'s top TV shows: on top is Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren's new crime drama, MobLand, while rookie soap opera Beyond the Gates, the just-renewed The Chi, Taylor Sheridan's new oater Landman, and venerable serial killer procedural Criminal Minds round out the top five.

In its ascent up the charts, Tracker is emulating Reacher in yet another aspect, as the Lee Child adaptation is...

Showrunner Elwood Reid Unpacks Who Colter and Reenie’s Romantic Interests Are in 'Tracker’ Season 3
Image
Family secrets and missing people are the bread and butter of the Justin Hartley-led CBS procedural, Tracker. The beloved procedural does, however, take some time out for matters of the heart, as seen in Season 1 and in the first episodes of its sophomore season, as Hartley's Shaw reignites his relationship with Gina Picket's sister, Camille (Floriana Lima). Colter has also, throughout the show's two seasons, had a very clear, emotional connection with Fiona Rene's Reenie. While the pair are yet to explore a romance between themselves, they've been involved with others. Looking ahead to Season 3, showrunner Elwood Reid has discussed the potential direction romance takes for these two beloved characters.

Speaking with Screen Rant, Reid was quizzed regarding Colter and his lack of a partner, and if it benefits the show at this point. "I think it's hard because I don't know if people judge or not,...

Will Leo Sharf Still Be Bothering Reenie in ‘Tracker’ Season 3? Showrunner Weighs In
Image
One of the major shakeups early on in Tracker Season 2 saw Fiona Rene's Reenie Greene quit her job and start up her own firm. This meant a new space and, of course, new clients as well. It also allowed Reenie the opportunity to work out in the field with Justin Hartley's Colter on occasion. One of Reenie's new clients is the mysterious Leo Sharf (Pej Vahdat), who smelt like trouble from the very first moment. Ultimately, the ruthless businessman did bring that perceived danger to Reenie's doorstep in Season 2's penultimate episode, with Reenie's life severely threatened. While the season finale was mainly about Colter and his discovery at Echo RIdge, the episode checked in on Reenie, who is still visibly shaken from her ordeal but apparently, is still in the employ of Leo. Why could that possibly be?

The second season of Tracker ended its run this past Sunday with Colter Shaw returning home to Echo Ridge. While Justin Hartley's Colter was back in his hometown to solve a case involving missing children from across the country, the world-famous rewardist eventually stumbled upon a world-shattering discovery of his own in the season finale. "What Does Her World Look Like?": ‘Tracker’ Season 3 Will Explore Reenie Further
Image
The second season of Tracker has completed its run and with its season finale came an earth-shattering revelation regarding the circumstances behind the death of Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen). It is a moment that negatively impacted the Shaw family in the Justin Hartley-led CBS procedural. The drama has been renewed for a third season and while Hartley's Colter and his siblings will have to deal with this new piece of information somehow, the upcoming season will also look to flesh out another character. Fiona Rene's Reenie Greene has been a mainstay since the series premiered in 2024. Despite working as legal counsel for Colter and their occasional romantic tension, not much has been revealed about the character. Showrunner Elwood Reid reveals that is all about to change in Season 3.

Reid, in an interview with ScreenRant, was quizzed about whether Velma Bruin (Abby McEnany) would have a bigger role...

Tracker's lead protagonist, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), has earned many notable cash rewards, and the full sum might surprise fans. As a rewards seeker, Colter is hired by clients (mostly desperate family members) to find their missing loved ones in exchange for a fee. Sometimes, though, Colter chooses not to collect the reward because he believes that helping his clients matters more to him.

After earning the reward money, Colter splits the payment among the rest of his team, which includes lawyer Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene), his handler Velma (Abby McEnany), and resident hacker Bobby Exley (played by Eric Graise who was missing in action in the latter episodes of Tracker Season 2). It is unknown what percentage of the reward each member gets, but given Colter's heavy lifting, he is assumed to get a good chunk of the money.

Colter Gets a Visit From Dory in New 'Tracker' Season 2 Images
Image
The appearance of a Shaw sibling always brings up their atypical childhood. Colter (Justin Hartley), Russell (Jensen Ackles), and Dory (Melissa Roxburgh) were raised on a diet of skepticism and suspicion as their father's mistrust of the government and paranoia reached fever-pitch levels. The siblings went their separate ways as soon as they could, but they reunite occasionally. The next reunion between Colter and his sister happens in Tracker Season 2, Episode 19, "Rules of the Game." When Reenie's (Fiona Rene) client, Leo Sharf (recurring guest star Pej Vahdat), hires Colter to track down his missing assistant before his company launch, the case takes a personal turn and Reenie becomes entangled in a deadly vendetta threatening both of their lives," reads the logline for the episode airing on CBS on Sunday, May 4, at 8 p.m. Et. What Happened To Bobby On Tracker? His Absence, Explained
Image
Paramount has found success with more conservative-leaning shows in recent years, with the most prominent example being "Yellowstone" and its vast universe of spin-offs. Of course, if you're going to venture into entertainment specifically designed for middle America, you're inevitably going to produce some sort of survivalist-led series, which is exactly what we've got in the form of "Tracker."

The show stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, the titular survivalist who makes a living by tracking down missing people for both law enforcement and everyday citizens, collecting the rewards and delivering a healthy dose of ass-kickery and machismo in the process. But unlike another itinerant all-American hero, Alan Ritchson's Jack Reacher (the best on-screen version of the character), Shaw isn't a complete lone-wolf, relying on a support team that includes his "man in the chair" Bobby Exley (Eric Graise).

Working out of a tech repair store in Chicago, Bobby...

Colter (Justin Hartley) does not like to mix business with pleasure, but sometimes, a tracker can only resist so much. The question about his dating status came up in Tracker Season 2, Episode 17, "Memories," but Colter was careful to avoid speaking about it. And that's because it's complicated. The next case takes him to Michigan, where a young woman went missing. "Colter heads to Willow Creek, Michigan, after a worried mother hires him to track down her beauty queen daughter, Riley, who vanished while driving home from work. While investigating at the garden center where Riley works, Colter looks into her modeling past and uncovers that she was hiding a major secret," reads the logline for Tracker Season 2, Episode 18, "Collision." CBS released a sneak peek of the episode airing on Sunday, April 27, previewing this case and a potential romance for Colter.
