Actresses Bette Midler and Bailee Madison have joined the cast of Us & Them for 20th Century Fox and Walden Media.
Billy Crystal stars as a minor league baseball announcer who is going through a separation with his wife (Bette Midler). Despite their split, they must both live under the same roof again with their three grandchildren. Bailee Madison will play one of the grandchildren in this comedy, which will also deal with the grandparents struggling to adapt to their modern grandchildren's behavior.
Andy Fickman is directing Us & Them from a script by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel. The original draft was written by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse, which is based on a story by Billy Crystal and Samantha Spencer.
Peter Chernin will produce for Fox alongside Billy Crystal. Production is slated to begin this month in Atlanta.
