Mikhail Karpenko is a Russian theater and film actor.
Karpenko was born in Leningrad. In 2004 he graduated from St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts, the course of Sergei Parshin. In 2004-2014, he was an actor at the Leningrad City Council Theatre. Played also in the Voronezh Chamber Theater.
Started acting in 2001. He became widely known after the role of Lieutenant Commander Andrey Snezhnyy with the call sign Bars in the action movie Morskie dyavoly (2005). The role of police lieutenant colonel, head of the Directorate of the Main Directorate of the CSS Vasiliy Tuchkov in criminal detective Nevskiy (2016) became noticeable.
Mikhail Karpenko is often invited to work as an entertainer, showman, host of concerts and programs.
