Josh Block began his career producing television interviews for Charlie Rose on PBS, including interviews with David Bowie, Julius Erving, Spike Lee, David Letterman, Wynton Marsalis, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Martin Scorsese. After that, he joined the staff of Late Show with David Letterman, where he prepared Mr. Letterman for his guest segments. Block has contributed to the Peabody Award-winning programs, Studio 360 (PRI) and EGG the arts show (PBS). He profiled Amy Poehler and the improvisational comedy troupe and training center, Upright Citizens Brigade, for the former and the satirical news organization, The Onion, for the latter. He was also part of the production teams that launched award-winning television programs for HBO, PBS, and ESPN. Block received his B.A. in English from DePauw University and earned his law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School. He lives in New York with his wife and three children.
