Horror Music Video of the Week: Eve to Adam – 'Straitjacket Supermodel' [Nsfw]
New York City rockers Eve to Adam just rolled out a kinky, blood-drenched video for “Straitjacket Supermodel,” the new single from their upcoming album Locked & Loaded. The clip features heavy metal celeb and Fuse VJ Mistress Juliya (aka Juliya Chernetsky) tormenting a couple of her new “pets,” including Playboy Playmate Kristin Nicole, with everything from bondage gear to an axe and an electric chair. According to frontman Taki Sassaris, the band wanted to bring together the fetishistic visual elements of Nine Inch Nails' “Closer” clip with the plastic-wrapped killer imagery of Dexter. Locked & Loaded is slated to drop this summer, and Eve to Adam will also be on the road with Texas Hippie Coalition on the “Highway Robbery Tour.” You can check the list of venues at their official site. But right now, fire up the video for “Straitjacket Supermodel,” and bear in mind this one's not exactly work-safe viewing material.

Scandalous Video Released for Eve to Adam's Dexter-Inspired Straitjacket Supermodel
We doubt Dread Central readers will be scandalized by the new video for "Straightjacket Supermodel" released by Eve to Adam, but with a leather-clad Juliya Chernetsky and Playboy Playmate Kristin Nicole appearing in it, we figured you'd at least want to check it out.

We've been talking about the song, which was inspired by the TV show "Dexter," for quite some time, and now finally NYC rockers Eve to Adam have released a video for it. The video shows the band performing at a twisted photo shoot featuring leather-clad dominatrix Juliya Chernetsky (of Fuse fame) and Playboy Playmate vixen Kristin Nicole. Electric chairs, ball gags, and an axe also make appearances, all adding up to a truly scandalous experience.

"Straitjacket Supermodel" is featured on the band's forthcoming album, Locked & Loaded, which is slated to be released this summer via 3for5/Megaforce/Sony Red. The album was produced by an all-star cast of producers,...

Peter Steele of heavy metal band Type O Negative has died of heart failure at age 48. Steele (born Petrus Ratajczyk), the burly 6'7" bassist and lead vocalist of the Brooklyn goth-metal band, formed Type O in the early '90s after stints in several other groups, including the hardcore act Carnivore.

A spokesperson for Type O bandmates Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly confirmed the report to MTV News on Thursday (April 15). And according to CBS News, band manager Mike Renault sent an e-mail saying, "Peter passed away last night. As of now it appears to have been heart failure. That's all the details we have right now."

The band's most recent label, Spv/Steamhammer Records, issued an online statement about Steele's passing. "It's with great sadness that we...

Exclusive Gothkill lobby cards
Wild Eye Releasing sent along a batch of exclusive lobby cards to promote its DVD release of the horror/comedy Gothkill. The disc, which we previously reported on here, is unleashed May 12, and director J.J. Connelly gave us few comments about the production as well.

“Murphy’s Law was in full effect from beginning to end,” he tells us of the shoot. “The good news is, we finished the movie, and we got what we wanted. Gothkill is a campy, low-budget midnight movie that’s a lot of fun to watch.”

The story centers on Catholic inquisitor Nicholas Dread, who rebels against the burning of innocent people as witches and is torched himself as a result. Renouncing his faith, he makes a pact with the devil and is revived in modern Manhattan, where he targets the denizens of a Goth club. “I decided to set this movie in the...
