Making his debut on the BBC series Ballykissangel in 1998, Irish actor Colin Farrell developed quite a name for himself in the film industry. Largely cast as the leading man in both large-scale blockbusters and indie films, Farrell's time on screen consolidated himself as one of the most influential actors in 2023, according to Time magazine. The Irish Times, moreover, named him the fifth-greatest film actor from Ireland in 2020.

In many ways, Farrell has been quite lucky, landing jobs working with brilliant directors, notably Steven Spielberg and Guy Richie. Twinned with his incredible acting range, pinpointing his best performance has been quite an arduous task. You can bring home three action-packed Universal titles home in high definition this July. Alpha Dog, Assault on Precinct 13 and In Bruges will all make their Blu-ray debuts on July 13.
