Liam Neeson may have all the skills he needed to lead the Taken franchise to success across three movies that redefined his career, but many people are just discovering that this was just the beginning for the saga of Bryan Mills. The TV series prequel to the Taken franchise is currently streaming on Freevee and has debuted at the top of the streamer’s TV show chart.

The series, which was released in 2017 and stars Clive Standen in the lead role, tracks a younger Bryan Mills, showing how he became the man with the skills that everyone grew to love more than a decade earlier. A former Green Beret who experiences a personal tragedy, Mills' path is set when he becomes bent on revenge while moving into a deadly career as a CIA operative that will certainly come in useful years later.

The series received mixed reviews from critics and audiences.

Former seven-time WWE women’s champion Trish Stratus makes her feature film debut in the Canadian action-thriller Bounty Hunters which follows three down-on-their-luck bounty hunters who hit the jackpot one night when they pick up an informant with a hundred thousand dollar bounty on his head. But their world is turned upside down when a mob boss offers them one million dollars in exchange for the informant. When they refuse, the mafia unleashes a trio of assassins on them who use all of their power to bring the bounty hunters down and to get their man – dead or alive.

The Sweet Karma Trailer has premiered. Andrew Thomas Hunt‘s Sweet Karma (2009) movie trailer stars Shera Bechard, John Tokatlidis, Frank J. Zupancic, Christian Bako, and Laura McLean. Sweet Karma‘s plot synopsis: “Sweet Karma…follows Karma Balint a shy, mute Russian girl whose sister Anna left for Canada with bright hopes of making some money for the two of them. When Karma discovers that Anna’s body has been found in the woods, the apparent victim of a Russian mafia hit, Karma sets off to infiltrate the criminal underworld to avenge her sister. Her journey takes her through the twisted underbelly of society leaving behind death and mayhem in her wake.”

This film looks as though it has a little Enter the Void, mixed with some elements from Taken, Human Trafficking, and X. The mute angle should throw a twist on how Karma Balint communicates with people she does not know.
