The Masked Singer is back!

A new episode of the mystery celebrity singing competition aired on Wednesday night (Oct. 9) on Fox.

The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.

This season also features Ambassadors, who are all alums of the series, that have a special connection to each singer and will be providing major new clues about their friends’ identities.

During the episode, Buffaloes, Woodpecker, Showbird, and Ship hit the stage for their third performances of the season.

Outside Lands is celebrating its Sweet 16 this year with a stacked lineup! On Tuesday, the San Francisco-based music festival announced that Tyler, the Creator, Sturgill Simpson, and the Killers will headline its Aug. 9-11 event and that it will also feature Post Malone performing a special set of country music covers.

The headliners for the 2024 edition of the Glastonbury music festival have been announced, and the names include Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Sza. The iconic British music festival is set to return to Somerset’s Worthy Farm on June 26 and will go on to June 30.

Dua Lipa will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the festival’s Friday night headliner, on a bill also featuring Glastonbury veterans LCD Soundsystem and Pj Harvey, reports ‘Variety’.

The British rock band Coldplay will make their first Pyramid Stage appearance since 2016 on Saturday night, with the only European festival appearance slated for their ongoing world tour.

With the appearance, the group, which previously held the joint headliner record with The Cure, will go one past and become the first act to headline Glastonbury five times.

As per ‘Variety’, Little Simz makes a return to Glastonbury to play the slot immediately before Coldplay.

The nonprofit We Are Moving the Needle presented the Resonator Awards on Tuesday night, an inaugural celebration designed to spotlight women in the music business in a push for creating a more inclusive industry. Naturally, the biggest name in the game received a shout-out from the podium.

Two of Taylor Swift’s close collaborators — producer Jack Antonoff and mixer and recording engineer Laura Sisk — hit the stage inside Beauty & Essex in Hollywood. Antonoff had the honor of presenting the Exceptional Ears Award to Sisk, a three-time Grammy winner who has also worked with Lana Del Rey, Lorde, St. Vincent and Florence + the Machine.

As per Grammy rules, a cover can only be submitted in a performance category or in an arrangement category; they’re not eligible for songwriting since they were written in a previous eligibility period, or sometimes before the Grammys were even created. 20-year-old Jack Rutter has an alter ego. The Salt Lake City native moonlights as Ritt Momney — a musical project that started out as an indie rock band with high-school friends, before its other members dispersed to follow Mormon missions. As a solo artist, Rutter turned inward to record a 13-song LP, Her and All of My Friends, which candidly examines melancholia and his own detachment from Mormon culture.

The Focus Features musical dramedy The High Note is looking to hit exactly that as it lands on-demand starting today. The recently concluded battle rounds featured coach pairings of singers with duets. The knockout rounds also are selected by coaches but with a completely different format: each competitor performs a song of their choice against another artist and is then evaluated by the coach. One advances to the Top 20 live show while the other goes home. Each coach does have one steal during this round to save somebody.

Entertainment One have released a trailer for the upcoming Funny Cow, starring Maxine Peake as stand up comedian trying to break through an all-male comedy circuit.

Directed by Adrian Shergold, the film stars Maxine Peake, Paddy Considine, Stephen Graham, Tony Pitts, Alun Armstrong with special guest appearances from Corinne Bailey Rae, John Bishop, Vic Reeves and Diane Morgan.

That's right, Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik's highly-anticipated new music video for the Fifty Shades Darker track, "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," has dropped -- and we've got it on repeat.

In the super seductive video, Taylor and Zayn play celebrities at a Fifty Shades-style soiree, though they both seem more focused on their own heartbreak than the crowd of masked strangers. A montage of shadowy scenes show both stars walking, separately, through a hotel lobby and to their individual rooms -- which they trash in a frenzy of passionate remorse.

While the music video, which was filmed at at London's historic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel and directed by Grant Singer, is nowhere near as risqué as the film the song was written for, Taylor's dark red shimmering lipstick and lacy, low-cut top give off a much more mature vibe than the...

Taylor Swift assured fans on Wednesday that the music video is "coming soon" for her and Zayn Malik's song, "I Don't Want to Live Forever," off the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

In the meantime, the 27-year-old singer is sharing screen shots from the music video, the most recent image showing her standing in front of Malik while bathed in red light. "Coming soon... #idontwannaliveforever #fiftyshadesdarker," she promised.

On Malik's 24th birthday earlier this month, Swift shared another teaser pic from the music video, with the caption: "Happy Z Day."

The song is the first track released by Swift since her 1989 album dropped in October 2014 -- and it's climbing the charts. Currently, "I Don't Want to Live Forever" is number 11 on Billboard's pop chart, with Malik's former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan's track, "This Town," coming in at number 12.

"I Don't Want to Live Forever" was written by Swift, Sam Dew and Fun's Jack Antonoff, who also worked with Swift on her song, "Out of the Woods."

Filming under way on Entertainment One’s 1970s-set comedy drama.

Production on Funny Cow, which stars Maxine Peake (The Theory Of Everything, Shameless) as a stand-up comedienne, has begun in Yorkshire.

The comedy drama, directed by Adrian Shergold (Pierrepoint), follows the rise to stardom of Peake’s character in 1970s northern England and is filming on location in Yorkshire for four weeks.

Paddy Considine (Hot Fuzz) and Stephen Graham (This Is England) co-star in the film, which features music by ex-Longpigs frontman and Mercury award-nominated solo artist Richard Hawley and Grammy Award winner Corinne Bailey Rae.

War Horse and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story writer Tony Pitts penned the script and has an acting role.

Kevin Proctor from Pow Films and Mark Vennis from Moviehouse Entertainment are producing, with Entertainment One releasing in the UK and Moviehouse Entertainment handling intrernational sales.
