Canada’s Evokative Films is reorientating its operations towards international sales consultancy. Evokative’s founder Stephanie Trepanier is at the Efm with two new projects: Chelsea Peters’ slasher film The Night Stalkers, produced by Ryan Turek and set to shoot this summer, and supernatural horror-romance Spring from filmmaking duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (Resolution).

Vmi Worldwide has sold North American rights of the action-sci-fi-horror movie Gallowwalkers, starring Wesley Snipes, to Wrekin Hill Entertainment as well as Japan to Presidio and the Middle East to Phoenicia. As you may recall, this long shelved movie centers on a cursed gunman who incurs the wrath of undead warriors after he kills the gang that murdered his lover.

Wesley Snipes is back, guys! And he’s more than ready to fight against a gang of zombies! Yeah, that’s exactly the thing with the upcoming horror-western titled Gallowwalkers, which comes from director Andrew Goth, and centers on a cursed gunman, played by Snipes, whose victims return as zombies warriors. Andrew Goth directed the movie from a script he co-wrote with Joanne Reay, which centers on a cursed gunman named Aman who incurs the wrath of undead warriors after he kills the gang that murdered his lover.

The undead western Gallowwalkers, starring Wesley Snipes, will show at the European Film Market February 8th. Vantage Media International will bring this horror tale to market as Snipes is soon to exit corrections. Snipes was given a three year prison term for tax fraud. Since then, Gallowwalkers has been put on hold, despite the film showing at Frightfest in late 2012. This title has been in production for over seven years.
