Dusterhas bitten the dust. The Josh Holloway-Rachel Hilson period action thriller, which was co-created by J.J. Abrams, will not be returning for a second season of adventure. Despite critical acclaim, the series did not manage to find a steady audience, and has been cancelled by the newly rebranded HBO Max. The series was originally greenlit in 2020, and was filmed some time ago; the show's cast and crew have since moved on to other projects.
Deadline reports that Bad Robot, Abrams' production company, did attempt to shop the series to other platforms and streamers, but did not come to an agreement with any of them. In a statement, the network expressed gratitude to "amazingly talented co-creators J.J. Abrams and Latoya Morgan, and our partners at Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television. One of the biggest disappointments for fans regarding Gorr’s MCU debut in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) was the character’s design, with many comic fans feeling it strayed too far from the original comic look. However, one Thor cosplay has righted this MCU wrong by showcasing both the God of Thunder and a comic-accurate Gorr.
Cosplayer The Fazgardian, whose Instagram showcases an impressive cosplay discography and features a bio that reads, “God of Thunder. Emerald Archer. Super Soldier. Jedi Master and Survivor. Protector of Hell’s Kitchen. The best he is at what he does. Made of Steel,” recently took to the platform to share a series of photos portraying one of the most kickass Thor cosplays to date.

Despite being released almost a decade ago, Fallout 4 continues to be as popular as ever, with new and old players exploring the Commonwealth as they look for Shaun. However, in such a massive game, there are some details and tricks that even the most seasoned Sole Survivors may have missed that can make life in the wasteland just that little bit easier. From knowing where to find early game loot to gameplay features that can change any playthrough.
One of the best things about Fallout 4 is there is always something new to find, an odd little detail to spot, or a new way of doing things to learn. The Commonwealth is a big place packed with hidden locations and quests to keep even the most dedicated fan busy. While some of the secrets here might be well-known to veterans, others may surprise them, and with an influx of new players,...

Undoubtedly, one of the most iconic aspects of the Fallout franchise is its variety of Vaults, and Fallout 4 features seven of these underground bunkers for the Sole Survivor to explore. Despite being advertised as places of safety during a nuclear war, Vault-Tec's Vaults were anything but, with most being home to terrible experiments. Learning the story of each Vault can be both rewarding and interesting, with each one having a unique, tragic tale.
Fallout 4's Vaults are found in various locations all over the Commonwealth, with five found in the base game and two added with Dlc. While most can be found while completing quests, there are a couple that will require the Sole Survivor to seek them out on their own. These dangerous Vaults are all worth exploring at least once, to learn their secrets and find their loot, but a few are worth return trips.

Traveling through the Commonwealth alone is no fun, and Fallout 4 provides the Sole Survivor with an array of companions to lighten the load. Each companion is unique with likes, dislikes, and clear goals that may or may not align depending on choices made throughout any playthrough. As each companion grows to trust the Sole Survivor, they will open up more, eventually leading to some great personal quests for a few, although some of these quests are definitely better than others.
Companion quests, while a staple of other series, are still somewhat new to the Fallout franchise, first appearing in Fallout: New Vegas before being adopted by Fallout 4 upon release. With 16 companions to recruit in Fallout 4, it is a little disappointing that not all of them get the same treatment with their personal stories expanded on in a quest. However, seven lucky companions do request the Sole Survivor’s help with personal missions,...

Quick Links How To Find Fort Hagan In Fallout 4 How To Find Kellogg In Fort Hagen
Conrad Kellogg is first met while the Sole Survivor is still in their cryo pod during the introduction of Fallout 4, cruelly taking their spouse and son from them. Finding Kellogg is the focus of the main questline, as he serves as the main antagonist for the first act of the game. The cold-blooded mercenary has answers to the many questions surrounding the location of Shaun, but luckily, tracking him down is pretty straightforward.
Finding Kellogg takes place during the main questline and will follow directly from the previous quest "Getting a Clue". To trigger "Reunions", you must get into Kellogg's old house in Diamond City with Nick Valentine. There are a few ways to do this, such as persuading Mayor McDonough or stealing the key, but once inside, the house should be searched for...

Survivor fans unite with past players to condemn Jeff Varner's controversial posts targeting minority groups and political figures. Parvati Shallow revealed how Survivor producers influence players with strategic questions in a podcast appearance. She believes producers aim to make the show interesting by asking questions that can impact players' decisions. However, Shallow clarified that producers are not manipulative and do not feed players information as some fans may think.
Since Survivor has been on the air for decades, the show has aired many beloved seasons for new viewers to watch. Survivor has also starred many memorable cast members including one who was the show's first player to be medically evacuated and one who has had open-heart surgery.
No matter how many people have played Survivor, however, some players are considered the show's biggest legends, including Parvati Shallow. Thanks to Shallow's legendary status, she has played several times and that allowed her to learn and reveal a lot about the show. For example, Shallow once revealed how the show's producers influence the game.

Ghouls in Fallout offer a mix of horror, humor, and tragedy, with some standing out as the coolest characters in the wasteland. Set, the tyrannical leader of Necropolis, elevates ghouls but does so through xenophobia, making him a despot in cool clothing. Fog ghouls in Far Harbor bring a trendy spin on common enemies with their maritime flair and atmospheric radioactive fog.
Ghouls are one of the Fallout franchises most enduring and inspired creations. A more sympathetic take on the zombie trope, they brilliantly evoke the horror, humor, and human tragedy at the core of the setting. But there are certain ghouls who, through sheer suaveness or sharp attention to post-apocalyptic fashion, have managed to stand out from the pack as some of the coolest characters in the wasteland.

The Railroad and its adherents are the biggest proponents of Synth humanity in the Commonwealth. Codsworth transforms into a menacing killing machine with upgrades in Fallout 4 - a look reminiscent of Terminator or Helldivers. The Automatron Dlc pack allows players to enhance their robot companions, such as Codsworth, with new parts and modifications. Upgrading Codsworth is recommended to keep up with tougher enemies in the game, ensuring his effectiveness and viability.
Codsworth may start off his Fallout 4 journey as a mild-mannered Mr. Handy that's satisfied to provide help and assistance to the Sole Survivor, but one player managed to make the robot into a terrifying Terminator-esque machine of death. Even when he hasn't been fitted with various upgrades and improvement, Codsworth is able to hold his own in battle but admittedly, that's not his primary function. Unlike the more devasting Mr. Gutsy variant, he doesn't have the kind of firepower that could take out small squad of raiders on his lonesome.

Fallout 4's Vault-Tec rep and the TV show's Cooper share a tragic backstory, showcasing common themes in Wasteland. Both characters survived the Great War as ghouls, cursed with immortality & eternal loneliness. The Hulk has an entire roster of 'Hulks' that make up his Marvel Comics franchise, and it seems the same thing is happening to the Juggernaut. Each Fallout game features a unique protagonist with their own compelling backstory and impactful journey through the wasteland. The Vault Dweller, Chosen One, Lone Wanderer, Courier, and Sole Survivor have all left their mark on the Fallout franchise. Personal choices and actions define the experience for each protagonist, making the journey through these post-nuclear worlds memorable.
Despite every Fallout game being set in the same world on the same timeline, the developers have managed to make each protagonist feel unique. While The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has had several updates and patches since its August 18th release, Gun Interactive recently implemented its first significant content update, boasting a variety of changes including new characters, a new map, and significant tweaks to gameplay. If you haven’t already picked a copy of the game up, there’s no better time to than now, and if you’ve already been playing, get ready to recalibrate your strategies, as the update provides some pretty substantial changes to the dynamic of the game across the board.
The most noteworthy aspect of the update is Nancy’s House, a brand new map that takes place at the home of the Family’s newcomer, Nancy Sawyer. As a first taste of what to expect of future maps outside of the original three, Nancy’s House is a refreshing change of pace for both The Family and the Survivors.

Society of the Snow, directed by Spanish filmmaker J.A. Bayona and Spain’s submission into the 2024 Oscar race, is based on the true story of the 1972 Andes flight disaster in which a flight carrying Uruguay’s Old Christians Club rugby team for a match in Santiago, Chile, crashed on a glacier at the Valle de las Lágrimas (Valley of Tears).

The rise of the Soulslike genre has, in some ways, defined the modern era of gaming. Like the Fps and Open-World genres before it, the Soulslike genre was born from the desires of its time and rebellion towards many industry trends. Of course, like the other greatest gaming genres, some Soulslike games are simply better than others.
Before we get into that, though, it’s important to define what a Souslike game is. While there is plenty of room for debate when formatting the exact definition of a Soulslike game, most entries into the genre feature some of these design elements:
– An emphasis on difficulty
– A checkpoint system that respawns enemies
– Role-playing elements that offer opportunities for character growth

Before we get into that, though, it’s important to define what a Souslike game is. While there is plenty of room for debate when formatting the exact definition of a Soulslike game, most entries into the genre feature some of these design elements:
– An emphasis on difficulty
– A checkpoint system that respawns enemies
– Role-playing elements that offer opportunities for character growth
– Encouraging player death to learn mechanics/environment navigation
– Indirect information related to narrative elements and gameplay mechanics

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an ambitious follow-up to 2019's Fallen Order, expanding on its predecessor in nearly every capacity while continuing the impactful story of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis and the crew of the Stinger Mantis. Set five years after the events of Fallen Order, Respawn Entertainment's Metroidvania-esque action-adventure game sees the iconic Star Wars galaxy further steeped in the fascist, Sith-controlled Galactic Empire. Survivor's narrative is multi-faceted, heartfelt, and mature, and while the gameplay side is equally compelling, its mechanics make few concessions for players who might not be immediately enthralled.
In the in-universe year 9 Bby, the Stinger Mantis crew that became something of a found family for Cal in Fallen Order has splintered. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor opens on a mission to Coruscant, the heart of the Empire, where Cal is tasked with retrieving state secrets for rebel guerrilla fighter Saw Gerrera. Saw does not...

With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releasing soon, the game has a big opportunity to resolve one of major complaints regarding its predecessor - series protagonist Cal Kestis. Following the events at the end of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Survivor picks up the story after a lengthy five-year time skip, putting Cal and the crew of the Stinger Mantis in unfamiliar territory at the start of the sequel's story. Intended to expand on Fallen Order's story and gameplay, Survivor promises to introduce new characters, locations, and gameplay additions.
While Fallen Order was mostly well-received upon its release in 2019, with a story exploring the aftermath of the end of the Star Wars prequel series and a well-realized Jedi power fantasy using gameplay reminiscent of Sekiro, some aspects of the game were less liked than others. Namely, Star Wars Jedi protagonist Cal Kestis can, to some players, come off as a rather generic and boring main character,...

A new story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released on March 20, and it has dropped some massive hints along with possibly setting up a link between Cal Kestis and the events of A New Hope. Survivor’s new trailer shows Cal no longer running from the Empire and demonstrates how he seems set to influence galactic history. While the trailer also confirms the return of Greez and Merrin, the overall plot of Survivor seems set to play a role in the future of the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will take place five years after Fallen Order in 9 Bby, when multiple major events in Star Wars occurred, including the plot of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which showed an organization known as The Path as one of the many growing movements opposing the Empire. Ben Foster (The Survivor), Justice Smith (Sharper), Katherine Waterston (Babylon) and Maria Bakalova (Bodies Bodies Bodies) are set to star in the Topic Studios thriller Floodplain from director Tim Sutton.
The film explores themes of family trauma, environmental justice and race via the story of a man (Foster) who must return to his hometown to help prevent a catastrophic flood and confront the mistakes from his past.
Floodplain reteams Topic Studios with Foster following their work together on Debra Granik’s Leave No Trace. Bill Gullo wrote the script, with Oscar nominee Jordan Horowitz (La La Land) of Original Headquarters to produce alongside Annie Marter (The Devil All the Time). Topic Studios will finance the pic, with Ryan Heller, Michael Bloom and Jennifer Westin exec producing for the company.
Crystal Bourbeau will introduce the project to buyers at EFM with UTA Independent Film Group, which is co-repping the domestic rights.

Michael Keaton (“Dopesick”) has been the Emmy front-runner for Best Movie/Limited Actor since he won Critics Choice and SAG Awards earlier this spring for his performance as a doctor grappling with the opioid crisis. Good grief! Christmas specials are in full swing, and the networks dusted off some of their biggest classics last week: ABC’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and CBS’ “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” In their inaugural 2017 runs, “Rudolph” (2.1 among adults 18-49) edged out “Charlie Brown” (1.8), giving a ratings edge to the reindeer with a very shiny nose.
“Rudolph,” which premiered in 1964, and “Charlie Brown,” which first bowed in 1965, are considered the key staples in a sea of primetime holiday specials, some of which have come and gone over the years. But both specials were overshadowed this year by a newcomer: “DreamWorks Trolls Holiday,” which averaged a 2.4 rating when it aired on Nov. 24, during the Thanksgiving weekend.
But there are plenty of caveats to all of this, since none of the specials actually faced off in the same time slot. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” performed respectably considering it aired in a tough Thursday 8 p.

Christmas + romance + cute puppies = A recipe for ratings success at Hallmark. The network known for its sappy made-for-tv movies hit it big over the Thanksgiving weekend with five nights of ratings gifts — making for its biggest week in network history. Among total viewers in cable, only “The Walking Dead” (and its companion “Talking Dead”) and NFL football did better than Hallmark’s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday movies.
The film “Switched for Christmas,” starring Candace Cameron Bure as identical twin sisters who swap lives for the holiday, became the most-watched telecast in Hallmark Channel history on Sunday night. The film averaged 5.8 million viewers after three days of DVR and video on demand usage. Mark Deklin, Eion Bailey, and Happy the Dog — see, it ticked all the Hallmark boxes — also starred.
Close behind, Saturday’s “Hallmark Hall of Fame” presentation, “The Christmas Train,” averaged 5.6 million viewers — beating the four broadcast networks on the night.

It turns out there’s enough to go around ratings-wise on Thursday night. NBC has taken hold of the Thursday Night Football package, which it shares with CBS (both of whom simulcast with NFL Network), and its fortunes on the night have grown substantially. Now with two nights of NFL, plus staples like “This Is Us” and “The Voice,” NBC easily won the week ending November 12 in adults 18-49, and scored its first total viewers victory of the season.
But on Thursday nights, ABC and CBS also have reason to crow in the 8 p.m. hour: “Grey’s Anatomy,” which just hit its 300th episode, remains a potent force. And “Young Sheldon” is developing into a new hit behind “The Big Bang Theory.” (Also in the hour, Fox’s “Gotham” and The CW’s “Supernatural” also perform relatively respectably, although not nearly at the same level).
