In 2017 Max completed eleven months working as a Lighting Cameraman on Wes Anderson's stop motion animated feature 'Isle of Dogs' under Cinematographer Tristan Oliver BSC, starring Bryan Cranston, Ed Norton, Bill Murray, Geoff Goldblum and Scarlett Johansen, amongst others. (DIR: Wes Anderson; Produced by Indian Paintbrush for Fox Searchlight).

In 2019 he shot the comedy feature film "Brighton" directed by Stephen Cookson and starring Larry Lamb, Phil Davis, Marion Bailey and Lesley Sharp.
