Biography

    • Reggie Watkins was born and raised in San Jose, CA, and has been passionate about acting from the very start. He even performed in the Kids Skits Theater Company in Denver, CO, which gave him a solid foundation. Reggie later went on to play collegiate football as a wide receiver until a torn ACL ended his career at 21. No longer able to pursue that path, he moved to Los Angeles and fully committed to acting.

Reggie's first "Hollywood" job was as a doorman at The World Famous Comedy Store, where he earned his stripes performing stand up with the likes of Dave Chappelle and Dane Cook. His first TV jobs were on the ABC Family series "Lincoln Heights," co-starring opposite the late Chadwick Boseman, and a commercial for Bud Light.

Since then, Reggie has booked a stream of high-profile projects, including recurring roles on Amazon's critically acclaimed series "Bosch," NBC's smash hit "This Is Us," and a guest starring role on ABC's "The Rookie." Nov. 13th 2020 Reggie will appear as Sgt. Lawrence Sims in Activision's latest blockbuster, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Reggie also hosted his own sports podcast "Talkin Sports with The Franchise" and currently can be found on the Digital Podcast Network show, "Brothas on Football," providing an in-depth breakdown of the game.

Reggie is a social activist as well. Inspired to take action during the civil unrest surrounding the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, Reggie co-founded 'The Valley of Change,' a non-profit organization located in the San Fernando Valley, focused on community outreach and peaceful protests for real, systemic change.

Reggie is represented theatrically by BRS-Gage, commercially by KMR, voice-over by Dean Panaro Talent and managed by Aligned Talent Group.
