Only the teachers can't get sick (the way they explain this in the trailer is super cheesy and yet oddly still amusing). Elijah Wood, Alison Pill, Rainn Wilson, Sunny May Allison, Armani Jackson, Leigh Whannell and Morgan Lily star in this horror comedy "with unexpected laughs and unapologetic thrills." Kathleen Rose Perkins has joined the cast of upcoming drama Juveniles.

The Episodes and Gone Girl actress will star alongside True Blood's Stephen Moyer in the film, Variety reports.

Writer and director Nico Sabenorio's film will begin shooting later this month, with a release date still to be confirmed.

Juveniles is centred around a present day tribal rivalry in small town America, while an older teenager battles powerful forces to protect his family.

Perkins will play a single mother attempting to raise her family in difficult surroundings.

Beau Knapp, Martin Henderson, Nick Eversman, Trevor Jackson, Jessica Rothe, Morgan Lily and Kevin Alejandro will also star.

DisruptiveLA announced that Beau Knapp and Stephen Moyer will join the cast of new drama, Juveniles.

Knapp (pictured) has had previous roles in Super 8 and The Signal and Moyer is most notable for his lead role in True Blood. The rest of the cast includes Martin Henderson, Nick Eversman,Trevor Jackson, Jessica Rothe, Morgan Lily and Kevin Alejandro.

Nico Sabenorio, who wrote Juveniles, will take his first stab at directing a feature. DisruptiveLA’s James Burke, Chris Miller, Schott Disahroon and Selliot Roseblatt are set to produce.

Jueveniles is set to take place in small-town America. The film tells the story of an older teenager who must overcome the powerful forces of violence and poverty from a rival tribe to protect his family in his pursuit for a better life.

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ review: Bryan Singer has a surefire hit with latest ‘X-Men’ sequel (photo: Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’) With yet another spring and summer movie season overstuffed with superhero extravaganzas, 20th Century Fox’s X-Men series, which debuted in 2000 and spans more than half a dozen films, now feels like the granddaddy of the genre. It certainly felt ready for retirement at the conclusion of Brett Ratner’s X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), a sequel so over-amped and underfed that it mothballed the series, allowing 2008’s first Iron Man movie to usher in the era of Marvel-produced spandex spectaculars. Nowadays though, franchises don’t die, they’re rebooted with a 9-figure budget and an eye towards an exploding Chinese moviegoing market that was hardly a consideration during the high times of DVD. That’s why Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class (2011) was such a pleasant surprise.

Michael Fassbender recently stated that he wants more Charles Xavier in the X-Men: First Class sequel. In your opinion, where are our heroes in the sequel? Where will we find Charles and Erik?

I don’t know where we find Erik — it’s kind of defined at the end of the film that he’s a bad guy. I can’t really speak for him, but I know that with Charles, you either have to write him out of the movie or give him an interesting story. He can’t just become the guy that we saw in the first three movies. He just had two major things happen to him.

Michael Fassbender recently sat down with MTV Splash while promoting his current film, Shame, and shared his thoughts on how he views the character of Magneto after the events of X-Men: First Class. He reveals that he doesn’t quite see Magneto as a total villain [yet] and that while X-Men: First Class seemed to focus more on how Magneto came to be, he would love for the sequel to focus more on how Charles Xavier steps into the mantle of Professor X.

The first act of X-Men: First Class is an excellent single-note, centralized drama while the remaining two acts of the film are a hodgepodge of answered-before-asked questions in addition to X-Men movie continuity errors, starting with the Jean Grey/Professor X/Magneto segment at the beginning of Brett Ratner’s X-Men: The Last Stand (written about here: Film Review: X-Men: The Last Stand).

Keeping the above in mind, X-Men: First Class can be broken down into three parts, not to be confused with its three acts: Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender)’s back story and revenge, Professor X (James McAvoy)’s evolution, and The Hellfire Club’s mutant utopia plan.

The new mutants united. X-Men: First Class premiered in the Number One spot at the box office with $56 Million. The Hangover Part II was Second with $32.4 Million for $186.8 Million so far. Kung Fu Panda 2 was Third with $24.3 Million for $100.4 Million so far. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was Fourth with $18 Million for $190.2 Million so far. Bridesmaids was Fifth with $12.1 Million for $107.2 Million so far. Thor, Fast Five, Midnight in Paris, Jumping the Broom, and Something Borrowed rounded out the top ten respectively.

"X-Men: First Class," the fifth film in the X-Men big-screen franchise, hit theaters this weekend and took audiences even deeper into the origins of Marvel's mutant team. The origins of the movie itself, however, lie between the pages of almost 50 years of X-Men comic books, which the film draws heavily upon in order to craft its own tale of how the X-Men came to be.

Given all of that source material, we decided to take a look at just which elements of the comics made it onto the screen, and how the movie follows — or in some cases, takes a twist on — those classic X-Men stories.

I know what you’re thinking: “What? Another X-Men First Class clip? Hasn’t there been, like, fifty of them by now?” Not quite, but close. Apparently Fox really, really thinks highly of their new movie, and why shouldn’t they? The movie is getting gangbuster reviews from pretty much all the fanboy movie sites that have seen it, and Fox hasn’t exactly been shy about promoting the film as geek-approved in their ads. This latest clip, the 12th if I’m counting correctly, features Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee learning the finer points of flying. Basically, open your mouth, kid. Fox has released some salacious images of January Jones in Emma Frost’s “proper” attire — or at least, proper by comic book standards. Ol Emma has never really shied away from showing off those curves in the comics, and I gotta admit, seeing January Jones all covered up in “X-Men: First Class’” trailers and clips was a tad disappointing. Apparently she doesn’t dress like that all the time, if these images are any indication. The funny thing is, of course, that Jones has worn way less than this in some of her modeling photoshoots. But there’s just something about her finally showing up in very Emma Frost-esque clothes that, I don’t know, make it just a bit more special. More clips are emerging from the highly anticipated 'X-Men: First Class,' including a TV spot with Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence).

In the clip, she first appears as a young girl ('2012''s Morgan Lily), chooses her mutant name, flirts with Hank McCoy -- aka Beast (Nicholas Hoult) -- and receives advice from mentor Erik (Michael Fassbender), the future Magneto.

There's also a new training montage where Cyclops' brother Havok (Lucas Till) and Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones) learn to control their powers.

It's official: 20th Century Fox is releasing X-Men: First Class on the Internet through a series of short preview clips.

Earlier this week, the studio released a preview clip that showed a young Charles Xavier (Laurence Belcher) meet an equally young Mystique (Morgan Lily). Almost a week earlier, a previous Beast-centric preview clip that involved an older Professor X (James McAvoy) meeting Beast (Nicholas Hoult) for the first time.

With the movie's release just over a week away, Fox has unleashed several new preview clips to help spoil promote the movie, so fans can have an early viewing before seeing the prequel in theaters.

New images from the upcoming X-Men: First Class have debuted at Marvel 's official site, showcasing behind-the-scenes concept art for January Jones' Emma Frost ,as well as illustrations of some of the film's 60's locations and a still of Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr. Update: Adding to that, The Hollywood Reporter has posted some brand-new images of Jones' costumes, including her standard outfit and her Hellfire Club lingerie. The clip and sneak peek follow a week where several TV spots both domestic and international have debuted, as well as not just one but two preview clips of the movie have made their way online.

The sneak peek trailer shows footage shown in previous trailers as well as snippets of new footage of the movie's action scenes that includes more of January Jones as Emma Frost in her diamond form, Edi Gathegi as Darwin using his powers of adaptation, Jason Flemying as Azazel teleporting and fighting, Zoë Kravitz flying as Angel Salvadore, Nicholas Hoult as Beast flying the X-Jet, and more.

With 'X-Men: First Class' hitting cinemas shortly, director Matthew Vaughn has spoken about sequel directions, saying:

"Yeah, definitely. I really loved working with them, and with Michael [Fassbender] and James [McAvoy], the chemistry was really lovely. I've got some ideas for the opening for the next film. I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy Assassination, and we reveal that the magic bullet was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he's pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren't even mentioned. And we could go from there, and I've got some fun ideas about what other mutants to bring in. I don't want to tempt fate, though. If the film's a hit, of course I'd be interested. 20th Century Fox has released a new sneak peek for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class. I'm not sure why this is being called a Sneak Peek, it's basically a minute and a half trailer for the film. Whatever you want to call the video below, it contains some bits of new footage that you probably want to check out. It shows more of Emma Frost, and also gives us a glimpse of Darwin and Angels mutant powers.
