Mumbai, April 19 (Ians) TV actor Jay Soni, who plays Abhinav in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (Yrkkh), spoke about the new twist in the story line after the revelation that Abhinav’s adoptive son Abir (Shreyansh Kaurav) is actually Akshara (Pranali Rathod) and Abhimanyu’s (Harshad Chopda) son.

Speaking about how this revelation will affect the lives of characters in the show, Jay said: “It is going to be one of the biggest revelations that will create a stir in the lives of Abhimanyu, Akshara, Abhinav and Arohi, (Abhimanyu’s fiancee).”

The actor, who was also seen in ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ further shared how his on-screen character is going to deal with the entire situation.

“Now that the truth is out, it will be intriguing to watch how Abhinav deals with the situation. It will be difficult for Abhinav to keep away from Abir after being with him so long.

Mumbai, April 2 (Ians) ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ actor Jay Soni, who is currently seen playing Abhinav in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, spoke about his character and how while playing the role, his perspective on relationships changed.

In the ongoing track, Abhinav is seen realising the importance of sharing his feelings with Akshara, played by Pranali Rathod. However, he also understands her feelings and stress due to her painful past and always keeps that in mind.

He shared: “I am enjoying the current track and have been enjoying it since day one. I am loving the whole experience, and I guess it shows in my performance. You have to balance everything and you have to express your feelings and also keep in mind that she shouldn’t feel bad.”

‘Sasural Genda Phool’ actor Jay Soni talked about his entry in the show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and shared that for his mother it is like a dream coming true. “My mom would always ask me when will you work in ‘Yeh Rishta…’ and I would reply, ‘Ma, there has to be a nice opportunity.’ And this was the right opportunity. I had a meeting with the producer and I said, ‘Okay sir, I’m doing the show’. I really respect him as a maker. He is brilliant and his vision is superb.”

“Moreover, the show is soon going to complete 15 years, it’s obviously one of the biggest hits on TV and it continues to entertain the audience,” he said.
