Note: This story contains spoilers from “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3, Episodes 1-2.
“The Summer I Turned Pretty” is back for its third and final season, bringing Jenny Han’s beloved book trilogy to a close. But Han has teased that book fans might not know how the Prime Video series will conclude.
The author and series creator has gone off script in past seasons — most notably in crafting a romance between Belly’s best friend, Taylor (Rain Spencer), and Belly’s brother, Steven (Sean Kaufman) — but in Season 3 bringing an end to the love triangle between Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), even more changes to the book “We’ll Always Have Summer” could impact the endgame.
See below for the biggest changes from the book in “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 so far. This story will be updated weekly as new episodes drop.

Conrad may have come back to Cousins just to say goodbye, but by the end of Episode 4, walking away wasn’t an option anymore. It wasn’t some grand, sweeping moment that changed his mind – it was all the small things. He saw Belly crying alone, holding onto memories of Susannah and her childhood, and something in him shifted.
So instead of leaving, he stayed. He unpacked, told Jeremiah he’d be his best man (even if he called it ridiculous), and made Belly dirt bombs for her belated birthday.
When she said, “You remembered,” and he answered, “I always remember,” it wasn’t just about muffins, but something deeper. Conrad puts on a front like he’s moved on, but the truth is, he never stopped loving her. He stayed because she matters.
That said, more than words ever could. But while he stayed for Belly, her marriage plans...

We're back in Jenny Han's universe after two years, and it's magical. Belly and Jeremiah are at Finch, while Conrad has been away at Stanford. Years have passed since Conrad let Belly go, and she fell in love with Jeremiah. Yet as Conrad works on his healing, Belly continues to ignore her lingering feelings.
I've been Team Conrad since I read The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy as a teenager, but as an adult, I'm realizing I should be rooting for healing and happiness instead of Jellyfish and Bonrad.
The season 3 premiere solidified my Team Conrad stance while also making it clear that Belly needs healing before choosing a brother. Even though they're young, they're moving towards their forever person. Belly knows one choice can shape her future. So why would she marry someone after such a betrayal?

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 has the perfect opportunity to give Steven Conklin (Sean Kaufman) a happy ending he deserves with one incredible character. While the series mainly focused on Isabela "Belly" Conklin's (Lola Tung) complicated love triangle story between the two Fisher brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah, The Summer I Turned Pretty also gave the spotlight to her older brother, Steven, throughout its run on Amazon Prime Video. Steven is involved in a complex relationship with Taylor (Rain Spencer), Belly's best friend.
The on-again, off-again romance between Steven and Taylor in the first two seasons of the series has been a delight to see, and the pair eventually confirmed their relationship in the Season 2 finale. However, in the brand-new season, Steven and Taylor's relationship might be heading downhill due to an unexpected setup involving both of them.

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” returned for its third and final season Wednesday, and the love triangle is not over yet.
Four years after the events of Season 2, Belly and the Fisher brothers will spend another summer at Cousins Beach. Belly (Lola Tung) just completed her junior year of college and is happily dating younger brother Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno). Though the couple’s relationship seems stronger than ever, Conrad’s appearance at the place where Belly fell in love with him reopens old wounds of her first love and heartbreak.
The third and final season brought back several returning faces but also added several new cast members. Isabella Briggs and Kristen Connolly joined the cast as series regulars. Other new faces joining Season 3 include Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand’Maison, Emma Ishta and Tanner Zagarino.
New episodes of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” will stream weekly on Wednesdays on Prime Video.

Fans have waited long enough, and that wait is about to come to an end. The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is slated to premiere on Prime Video tomorrow! So if you were planning on watching something else, you might want to rethink your plans.
Not only is this series one of Prime Video's best teen shows, but it's also in its final season. After The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 wraps up its run, fans will have to say goodbye to Belly and the Fisher boys for good. That said, this isn't a season you want to miss!
However, don't expect the third season to be released all at once. Prime Video moved away from that approach after the first season. Season 2 followed a weekly release schedule, with the first three episodes dropping on premiere day and the rest rolling out one at a time each week. The Summer I Turned Pretty...

Ever since chatter about the third and final season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” began, creator and author Jenny Han has teased that the ending of her book series might not determine exactly how — and with which Fisher brother — Belly’s journey might end.
Han, who published the last novel in the trilogy, “We’ll Always Have Summer,” well over a decade ago in 2011, is used to fans shipping Belly (Lola Tung), with either Conrad (Christopher Briney) or Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). But she admits the fandom for the Prime Video series has upped the ante, leading to plenty of speculation about how the love triangle might end.
“I’m always thinking about my book fans,” Han said. “There’s Team Conrad book fans, and there’s also some Team Jeremiah book fans … there were teams even when I was writing them years ago, so it’s not new, although...

No matter when you were born or how old you are, summer is kind of the one thing that never gets old. We can all relate to associating the warmer months with transformation, magic, and timelessness. It's one of the things that makes The Summer I Turned Pretty so popular, whether you're a teenager like Belly (Lola Tung) now or vividly remember what it was like. The official trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 reveals more of Belly's life with Jeremiah, their wedding plans, and Conrad's return. The third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is slated to be the show's last, as it will adapt the final book in Jenny Han's trilogy, We'll Always Have Summer. With Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) seemingly settled in their relationship and Belly looking forward to her senior year of college, only one thing could truly rattle their love story: Conrad's (Christopher Briney) lingering feelings for Belly.
Though The Summer I Turned Pretty's season 3 trailer starts with a shot of Belly, the first of the two love interests shown is Conrad, as Belly's voice-over says, "First loves are important." It switches to a shot of her and Jeremiah hugging and kissing as the voice-over continues, "... but they're not as important as lasts.

The tradition of frothy teen love triangles is about as old as the sun-kissed coming-of-age melodrama, of which Prime Video's "The Summer I Turned Pretty" is a key example. Based on the novel series by popular YA writer Jenny Han, the show revolves around the exploits of Isabel "Belly" Conkin (Lola Tung), who has spent every summer of her life in the upscale beach town of Cousins with her family and the Fishers, whose matriarch is her mother's best friend. The Fishers have two sons -- Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) -- and as Belly matures, the relationship between the three of them becomes a bit more ... hormonally driven.
"The Summer I Turned Pretty," which has run for two seasons so far, quickly grew into prime guilty pleasure viewing, making the upcoming third and final season hotly anticipated by fans.

According to the first look photos of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, which were released on March 31, Conrad Girls may be in trouble. Although fans are melting over the teasers, it's hard not to notice the Jeremiah and Belly couple photos throughout the newly released pictures.
Some Conrad, Steven, and Taylor teasers are mixed within, but 80 percent of the images focus on shots of Jeremiah cozying up to Belly. As a Conrad Girl, I'm not okay. Many fans speculated a few weeks ago about a change in the trilogy's ending from books to screen, based on the season 3 announcement poster, thinking nothing would come of it. But it seems Jenny Han has some "surprises" up her sleeves for longtime fans of the books.

We can't believe the long-awaited second season of Xo, Kitty is finally streaming on Netflix! After last season's jaw-dropping cliffhanger, our favorite teen matchmaker is back at Kiss, prepared to tackle whatever drama comes her way. Though, for her sanity, let’s hope it’s a smooth sailing semester this time! Who are we kidding, though? With Kitty, chaos is practically guaranteed—and we’re here for every second of it! Q doesn't call her his chaos queen for nothing.
Unfortunately, the second season is two episodes shorter than the first. With each episode clocking in at 30 minutes or less, the season flies by. You hit play on the first episode, and before you know it, you’ve already reached the season 2 finale! Honestly, it seems like the episodes go by even quicker because the story is so engaging and packed with twists, leaving you wanting more after each one.

The heyday of teen romance TV shows from the late 1990s to the early 2010s created some of the best and most influential adolescent series of all time. This was the period when teenagers and the pangs of adolescence were starting to be taken seriously by film and television, as young adults were proving themselves to be a vast and marketable audience base. While there are many other great shows about teenagers that feature love stories, not all of them share the specific tone and atmosphere that makes a teen romance TV show so unique.
There are plenty of toxic couples in teen dramas, as most of the relationships presented in these shows are far from perfect and often problematic. However, these are easy to spot looking back on these shows, and it's important to remember to take most storylines and romantic interests in teen dramas with a grain of salt.

Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball franchise has largely been about the coming-of-age of its main protagonist, Goku. The story has seen him go from a child being all alone in the world to a mature adult starting a family of his own. Goku also made new friends along the way, usually in the form of former rivals. Although there's an official timeline for Dragon Ball, fans still get confused about Goku's age.
The Saiyan hero has grown from a young boy way back at the beginning of the original manga/anime series to a full-grown man. That's compounded further by a new series that seemingly resets his age again. By looking at Goku's age in Dragon Ball, it can be determined how old Goku is in Dragon Ball Super.

I will start by saying there are no shows like Euphoria. The HBO series is in a league of its own and to this day remains unmatched. But unfortunately, it is going to be a while before we get new episodes of the Zendaya teen drama. And that season 2 cliffhanger isn’t making this waiting game any easier.
Euphoria stars Zendaya as Rue Bennett, a teen drug addict fresh out of rehab and struggling to stay sober. Rue is the center of the story in the first season, with a small focus on the lives and troubles of the surrounding characters. The second season, however, dives deeper and expands the stories of those around Rue. The cast includes Angus Cloud, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney.
The second season of Euphoria wrapped on Feb. 27, 2022. So to say we are overdue for more episodes is an understatement!

Romance novels lend themselves to being adapted into TV shows, as their character-driven stories connect with audiences and make for compelling narratives. It's not surprising that so many of the best romantic television series are based on best-selling books consumed by a variety of readers. Screen iterations of literature make up a large part of film and television, and it follows that novel series would translate well to television. The multiple episodes and potential for many seasons mean that a long and complex story can be developed onscreen.
There are still many romance books that deserve TV show adaptations, as new and exciting additions to the genre are being published every day. The most important aspect of any romance story is the central relationship between the main couple. In books, the characters' chemistry is created by the author, but in TV shows, it's up to the actors to carry the...

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 is finally coming in 2025 after an unexpected hiatus due to industry strikes. Season 3 will have 11 episodes, the most in the series, giving more time to follow the book trilogy's story. The main cast, including Lola Tung and Christopher Briney, is expected to return for the highly anticipated season.
The Summer I Turned Pretty is paying off its two-year hiatus with an exciting season 3 change. The Summer I Turned Pretty's season 2 finale premiered August 18, 2023, on Prime Video, marking eight months and counting until audiences can access its next new season. The coming-of-age romantic drama, based on Jenny Han's novel trilogy of the same name, was noticeably missing from Prime Video's 2024 slate, which raised questions about when more of Isabel "Belly" Conklin's love triangle story would return.
A production update earlier this year promised that season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty would arrive...

The Summer I Turned Pretty will not return this year. Amazon announced during its upfront presentation on Tuesday that the next season of the show, based on Jenny Han’s bestselling romance trilogy, has been delayed to 2025.
But while fans have to wait a bit longer, the network sweetened the deal by announcing that the upcoming third season will include 11 episodes rather than the previously announced 10. This is up from seven in Season One and eight in Season Two.
Though Season Three was greenlit ahead of the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes,...
