Is a trained dancer.

Jeremy was just out of high school when he won the part of Lip Gallagher on Shameless (2011).

As a kid, he excelled in tap, jazz, and ballet dancing before deciding to pursue an acting career.

For the role of Lip Gallagher in Shameless (2011), Jeremy Allen White earned a 2014 Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

He attended the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts for six months.

Jeremy and then-girlfriend Addison Timlin welcomed their first child, daughter Ezer Billie White (b. October 20, 2018).

Jeremy, who played Lip in Shameless (2011), also auditioned for the role of Ian.

His paternal grandmother was the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants. His other ancestry is mostly rooted in North Carolina, with English, German, Scottish, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, and distant Dutch descent.

Does not watch Shameless (2011) as he doesn't have cable but when he does watch it, it's a long time after it has aired and he takes notes.

Jeremy and wife Addison Timlin welcomed their second child, daughter Dolores Wild White (b. December 12, 2020).

His parents had both come to New York to pursue acting opportunities. His mother, from North Carolina, went to the same school there as actor Michael C. Hall.

He worked with now-wife Addison Timlin in the Independent Spirit Award-nominated film Afterschool (2008).

In 2009, Jeremy contributed artistically to an untitled film project by the avant-garde European director Billy Rayner. It is on hiatus.

Has a younger sister.
