Philip Ettington
Philip Ettington was born on June 4, 1966 in West Midlands, England, UK as Philip Shirley. He is widely known for The Shawshank Redemption (1994) also Pulp Fiction (1994) and The Silence of the Lambs (1991), as well as appearing in all four Jaws movies.

As a child actor he quickly found an interest in all aspects of the entertainment industry, also from working as Assistant Producer in England for a friend of his biological father, relative of his adoptive father; the Executive Producer Lloyd Shirley. This led him to Los Angeles, where he continued his career from being a radio Disc Jockey, directing music videos, voiceover for television commercials, and print modeling; while at the same time acting in film and television.

Today, Philip Ettington still continues to act, he also writes for a variety of national and international publications, however his principal occupations are in talent management, film production, and screenwriting.

      As a child actor appeared in the same British television show as Anthony Hopkins, who advised him to work hard and attempt to study at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, which he managed to do. Less than ten years later he was honored to act with Anthony Hopkins again, in The Silence of the Lambs (1991). Three other actors that he's pals or appeared in movies with, who also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art are: Peter O'Toole also Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton.
