Cineverse, Bloody Disgusting, and director Mike P. Nelson are bringing iconic slasher franchise Silent Night, Deadly Night back to theaters, and we’ve announced this morning that the brand new movie will be released in theaters nationwide on December 12, 2025!
Silent Night, Deadly Night is being released into theaters by Iconic Events. Deadline notes in their exclusive report this morning, “the movie will have an unrated, wide release.”
“We have been anything but silent about our mission to champion proven IP as a central piece of our theatrical strategy,” said Cineverse Chief Motion Pictures Officer Yolanda Macias.

Dark Winds and Blood Quantum actor Kiowa Gordon and Sera-Lys McArthur (Café Daughter, Outlander) have joined the cast of Many Wounds, a contemporary re-imagining of Lee Tamahori’s ground-breaking 1994 Maori film Once Were Warriors, set among indigenous communities in Canada.
Skye Pelletier (Prey) stars in Many Wounds as Mashka, a young teenager on the cusp of being swallowed up by a colonial system meant to further the goals of assimilation who becomes a warrior to protect his family.

Schneider lured by role in 'Fish'
Rob Schneider has signed to star in Juliana and the Medicine Fish, an independent children's fantasy being directed by Jeremy Torrie. Schneider will play a father who is trying to save his troubled fishing lodge as well as his relationship with his 12-year-old daughter, who uncovers an ancient secret in the waters near the lodge. The film is based on the book by Jake MacDonald. MacDonald wrote the adaptation with Torrie. Tanya Brunel and Torrie are producing via their High Definition Pictures banner. John Schneider, Rob's brother and producing partner, is executive producing. ThinkFilm will distribute in Canada. Production will begin this week in Lake of the Woods, Manitoba, Canada.
