Jed is a child of the 80's. He grew up in suburban Puyallup, WA to a nurse Mother and a Boeing airplane engineer Father. He spent his childhood riding bikes and playing in the woods. His family moved 13 times before he was 12 years old. He attributes his sense of humor and love of comedy to his grandpa, whom he admires most. Jed moved off to California for college to pursue Electrical Engineering, and took an improv class in school since there was no homework. That's when the acting bug bit, and his teacher strong armed him into pursuing acting endeavors in Hollywood, to the dismay of his parents. In college Jed would skip class to audition and found quick success booking commercials and a Guest Star on the CBS show "Close To Home".

He has trained all over Los Angeles having been heavily involved in the Groundlings theatre, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Improv Olympic. His scene study and technique skills are attributed to Ivana Chubbuck to which he worked with for over 5 years and assisted her, as well as with Margie Haber and Lesly Kahn. He has acted in over 50+ commercials, and numerous TV appearances, as well as film roles.

After working in Commercials, TV, and Film Jed learned the skills of filmmaking and started a production company with his business partner John Kubin called Pretty Nifty Productions. Jed is an award winning director having written, produced, and directed over 100+ commercials for major brands such as Star Wars, McDonalds, Fiat, Bud Light, Virgin America, Miller Lite, etc. and the #2 Digital commercial for Super Bowl 50 for Walmart. Jed and John are also developing a series for Crackle.

Jed is happily married to actress and singer Calico Cooper of the band Beasto Blanco. His father-in-law is legendary rockstar Alice Cooper.
