Don’t come for me when I say this, but I’m lowkey nervous about the HBO reboot of Harry Potter—especially now that Paapa Essiedu is playing Severus Snape. Like, yay for fresh casting and inclusivity, but have we really thought this through? Because Essiedu’s casting might land James Potter in hot water.
I mean, James already catches major heat in the fandom for being a certified school bully who tormented Snape just for fun. And now that Snape’s being portrayed by a Black actor, those “Marauders-era pranks” might read more like straight-up racism rather than just teenage beef. Sorry, James, but your PR team better be ready.

Ah, the Harry Potter fandom. A place where magic, nostalgia, and online debates about whether J.K. Rowling should still have Twitter thrive. It’s a community that has spent the last decade passionately defending, critiquing, and sometimes outright rewriting the beloved franchise.
And now, just when we thought the Great Hogwarts Discourse had settled into a peaceful slumber, HBO Max’s Harry Potter TV series has entered the chat, dragging with it an avalanche of casting announcements, inevitable controversy, and, of course, memes that will live forever in Twitter’s hallowed halls.

As the cast list unfolds, we are being gifted or cursed, depending on who you ask, with fresh interpretations of our favorite characters. Among them, is the ever-iconic, always-brooding Severus Snape, who will now be played by none other than Emmy-nominated actor Paapa Essiedu. So, let’s take a look...

Which Harry Potter co-star was Evanna Lynch dating? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
The Harry Potter cast has given us a ton of magic over the years, but it turns out they had a few real-life enigmas up their sleeves, too. Behind the scenes of the massive film franchise surrounded by wands, and potions, unexpected connections also formed. Among them were secret romances that few knew about.
One Harry Potter actress spilled the beans on a relationship that lasted nearly nine years—and you probably never saw it coming. She and her co-star kept things completely under wraps, dodging the spotlight over the years. Who are we talking about? Well, get ready, because this is a story that even the Marauder’s Map wouldn’t have uncovered.
The Harry Potter Love Story Nobody Knew About
Evanna Lynch, aka our favorite dreamy Ravenclaw, Luna Lovegood, once confirmed that she was in a long-term relationship with Robbie Jarvis.

Podcast producer Glisten+ (a portmanteau of “great” and “listen”) launched Tuesday with two initial programs, part of a larger slate of scripted fare that it plans to roll out in the coming months.
The first original series include the young adult-geared “Can’t Relax,” about a relaxation app that secretly places murderous messages into the brains of its teen listeners. The supernatural thriller features Olivia Trujillo (“For All Mankind”), Andre Robinson (“Cheaper by the Dozen”) and Patrick Labyorteaux (“NCIS”).
The other show is fantasy adventure “League of Wonder,” which follows a Yorkshire terrier who teams up with a rag-tag group of animal heroes to rescue Dorothy Gale and a pair of magical slippers. The show stars Donovan Patton (“Blue’s Clues), Makgotso M (“The Woman King”), Eric Petersen (“Kevin Can F**k Himself”) and Robbie Jarvis (“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”).

Luna Lovegood and James Potter are dating?! Brace yourselves, Muggles, because it's true: Harry Potter stars Evanna Lynch and Robbie Jarvis have posted more than a few adorable selfies together on Instagram, and all signs point to the pair being a couple. In fact, they seem to have been dating for more than a year, but their relationship made headlines over the past week. Evanna all but confirmed their relationship status with two different Instagram posts in April, calling him her "boyf" while they were video chatting and joking about "a vital relationship cornerstone" collapsing after she realized that emoji didn't quite translate between their phones. Meanwhile, they seem to have nicknames for each other - Bug and Fuz - and they regularly post ridiculously cute Pda pictures. (Bonus points for a few Harry Potter references!) Check out some of Evanna and Robbie's sweetest snaps, then see 25 reasons you should...

Harry Potter fans definitely didn't see this coming. The stars who played Luna Lovegood and James Potter may never have actually had any onscreen time together, but these two actors have been spending ample time together in real life! The two have been photographing selfies together for a bit now, and their latest Pda-pic has caused some to wonder if they're more than just good friends. And while Jarvis' rep tells E! News, "I'd rather not comment on my actors' personal lives," we think the photos pretty much speak for...
