"We all, kind of, take care of each other here." Dark Sky Films has unveiled the official trailer for an indie horror film titled 1Br, a reference to "one bedroom" listings for apartments. This premiered at numerous genre festivals last year, including at Fantasia, Beyond Fest, Monsterfest Melbourne, and also the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. Nicole Brydon Bloom plays Sarah, a young woman trying to escape her painful past who decides to start anew in La, but her neighbors are not what they seem. Also starring Giles Matthey, Taylor Nichols, Alan Blumenfeld, Celeste Sully, Susan Davis, Clayton Hoff, with Earnestine Phillips. This definitely looks creepy as hell, with some big twists hinted at in this trailer. Tread carefully. In her 4.5-star Telluride Horror Show review, Christina Bergling wrote that "psychological horror almost always wins with me, but 1Br in particular gets it so right." Following its run on the festival circuit, 1Br is coming out soon from Dark Sky Films, and we've been welcomed to the film's nightmarish neighborhood with the movie's official trailer and poster.

Written and directed by David Marmor, 1Br stars Nicole Brydon Bloom, Giles Matthey (Ford v Ferrari) Taylor Nichols (PEN15), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), Alan Blumenfeld (Heroes), Clayton Hoff (Shameless), Celeste Sully (Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart), Earnestine Phillips (Here Comes the Boom), and Susan Davis (WarGames).

The film was produced by Alok Mishra and Shane Vorster (of Malevolent Films), Allard Cantor and Jarrod Murray (of Epicenter), and Nic Izzi and Sam Sandweiss, with Peter Phok and David Marmor on board as executive producers.

Written by Brea Grant (Heroes) and directed by Natasha Kermani, it has been announced that Lucky has wrapped production and will be released in the Us by Dread.
