‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’, the 2006 thriller that featured Kamal Haasan as a fearless cop chasing a pair of ruthless serial killers, is one of the best films in Tamil cinema in the genre. The film, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, was a huge success and recently had a re-release that received a great response from the fans.

Gautham celebrated the re-release of ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’ by cutting a cake with music composer Harris Jayaraj and producer Manickam Narayanan. One rarely hears about dubbing artists, who despite remaining in the dark, breathe life into characters with their voice.

"Nobody understands the effort we put in to do justice to the character we dub. It's not always plain dialogue; sometimes we are required to cry, underplay and even talk in different lingo.
