K-dramas have gained worldwide success for their ability to bring to life imaginative portrayals of romance and thriller revenge stories, with flawed series still being ever so captivating. With so many successful K-dramas to compete with, a few will inevitably fail in comparison to the writing and character development in other series. Such tropes are included within these shows in ways that create inconsistent plots and questionable character motives.
