Exclusive: Fresh off the release of The Accountant 2, which grossed over $100 million in theaters before debuting on Prime Video, Zero Gravity founders Eric and Mark Williams are partnering with Stage 32, an online platform for entertainment industry education and networking, to launch a talent incubator focused on emerging screenwriters working in the action and thriller genres.

The producers, who originally found Ozark creator Bill Dubuque through a cold query, will launch their worldwide talent search through Stage 32’s platform, featuring over 1.3 million members. Zero Gravity will personally review semi-finalist loglines and all top 10 finalist scripts, with winners selected based on both creative merit and commercial viability. The selected writers will receive script development and industry mentorship, the goal being to help fast-track production on their scripts. Ratatoskr is one of the cutest and funniest characters in God of War Ragnarok, but the mythic figure was apparently at risk of being cut from the game completely. The epic sequel introduces a number of new mythic Norse characters, including the villainous gods Thor and Odin. Ratatoskr has become a fan-favorite addition to the God of War cast, but his presence was apparently resisted by some developers.

A report from Game Informer reveals that Ratatoskr was nearly left out of the game, with God of War Ragnarok director Eric Williams fighting hard for his inclusion. Much like its critically acclaimed predecessor from 2018, God of War Ragnarok has no shortage of collectibles and Easter Eggs for players to find. Yet some secrets remain hidden to even the most meticulous of players.

In a recent episode of IGN’s Podcast Beyond: Spoilercast, as reported by GamesRadar, God of War Ragnarok director Eric Williams sat with the IGN crew to discuss many of the secrets players might have missed during the adventure. One secret he revealed, in particular, was that during the early game of God of War Ragnarok, Odin was in disguise and hiding in plain sight amidst the dwarves of Svartalfheim.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is continuing his supervillain streak in Marvel and Disney+'s upcoming series, "Wonder Man." Abdul-Mateen, best known for his roles as Cal Abar in "Watchmen" and the villain David Kane, aka Manta, in "Aquaman," will reportedly star as Wonder Man in Disney+ and Marvel's eponymous series, according to Deadline. In his transition from DC villain to Marvel villain, the actor will take on the role of Simon Williams, a supervillain who works with Baron Heinrich Zemo and the Enchantress to take down the Avengers until he's reborn as a superhero and switches sides.

The relationship between Kratos and Atreus has grown in God of War Ragnarok, and part of this involves the Ghost of Sparta calling his son by his name. Players were first introduced to Atreus in the 2018 God of War reboot, which saw his father Kratos abandon his old God-killing ways from the original God of War games in favor of a quiet life in Midgard. This peaceful existence wouldn’t last long though, as the pair are tasked with journeying to the highest peak in Jotunheim as per the dying wish of Kratos’ wife Faye.

Due in part to both Faye’s death and the tragic loss of his original family in the old God of War trilogy, Kratos begins God of War (2018) in a cold and distant relationship with Atreus. This is best demonstrated in how Kratos calls his son “Boy” instead of his name at any given opportunity...

God Of War was a surprise hit for PlayStation, with the older franchise getting a soft reboot with a Norse twist in 2018. The upcoming sequel, God of War Ragnarök, continues Kratos's adventures in Norse mythology and is sure to introduce more hitherto unseen gods and monsters. However, more change isn't likely far off for the franchise.

Game directors Cory Balrog and Eric Williams confirmed in an interview with Kaptain Kuba that the franchise will be moving on from Norse mythology after Ragnarök to make way for a new set of stories, which could very much tie into the past.
