One of the biggest trademarks of anime is its proclivity for intense action, leading to some of the greatest actions movies of all time. Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc , the upcoming and most recent animated adaptation of the long-running Kinnikuman shonen action manga, has revealed a new cast addition. The series will broadcast in Japan on the Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting / Tokyo Broadcasting System networks beginning on July 7, 2024, and it will also stream on Netflix. In Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc , actor / comedian Akira Kawashima (of comedy duo Kirin) plays the roles of Big the Budo / Neptune King , a legendary fighter who hides his true identity in an outfit resembling kendo armor. Before readers the world over had the chance to fall in love with Naruto, the ramen-loving ninja had quite a different job in his author's original idea. Fans these days are familiar with Ichiraku Ramen, the noodle shop that Naruto often visits for a good meal and a break from his missions in Konoha village. However, in the original conception of the character and his story, this shop played a far more pivotal role in the plot.

Japan’s anime industry gathered in Tokyo over the weekend for the seventh annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which select leading achievements in Japanese animation across a broad range of categories and pick the winners via a global popular vote.
Netflix’s standalone series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners took the event’s top anime of the year award, while Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, which made its international debut on Crunchyroll, cleaned up across many of the other main categories, including best action, best animation, best director (Haruo Sotozaki) and best fantasy. Other big winners included blockbuster Jujutsu Kaisen 0, produced by Japan’s Mappa, which won best film, and Crunchyroll’s Spy X Family with best comedy and best new series. God bless you Takashi Miike and Kyoko Fukada. This week the young actress known by the popular tag, Fukakyon, showed off her costume for Japanese maverick director Takashi Miike’s upcoming adaptation of the 1970s animation Yatterman.
Fukada, 26, reportedly helped in the design of the bondage-style outfit, and said she loves the result. To that I say, ‘Derrrr!’
Doronjo posed for cameras along with her villain buddies Boyacky, played by Katsuhisa Namase, 48, and Tonzra, played by Kendo Kobayashi, 36. In the upcoming movie, the evil trio attempt to find a mysterious stone which is said to reveal the location of the world’s largest gold deposit.
