Michael Trevino’s Wedding Missed Two Major Vampire Diaries Stars: What Happened?
Image
“I was feeling epic.” That immortal line from The Vampire Diaries echoed through social media for several weeks, but some key faces were notably absent from the celebration that inspired it. On June 20, Michael Trevino tied the knot with model Bregje Heinen in a sun-drenched Spanish ceremony, but conspicuously missing were his on-screen brothers-in-immortality: Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder.

The lavish affair was otherwise a veritable bloodline reunion, with Nina Dobrev, Candice King, Kayla Ewell, and Charles Michael Davis in tow, toasting Trevino’s new chapter. So who came, who ghosted, and why? Was it scheduling, silence, or something deeper?

Spain became a sunlit sanctuary for nostalgia as Michael Trevino, best known for playing the often-woeful but loyal Tyler Lockwood, married Bregje Heinen in a ceremony that looked like a Pinterest board curated by Aphrodite.

Why Hilary Duff’s ‘Younger’ Was Canceled After 7 Seasons
Image
For seven stellar seasons, audiences anxiously tuned in to see how 40-something single mother Liza Miller would be able to juggle her thrilling double life, with the recent divorcée pretending to be a 26-year-old, in order to find success in an ageist publishing industry in the smash hit Younger. Featuring the talents of Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar, and Hilary Duff, the fun and quirky series became an underrated success with fans and kept viewers hooked from beginning to end, concluding its impressive run in 2021.

Despite becoming such a knockout with viewers, many fans were shocked when Younger completed its television tenure after seven seasons, with some wondering if the entertaining dramedy had been canceled. Small screen legend Darren Star is the genius behind Younger, having also been responsible for some of Hollywood's most celebrated classics including Beverly Hills, 90210 and Sex and the City, and ahead of the final season's...

The TV Land comedy Younger, which stars Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff, includes numerous established actors across seven seasons, creating lovable and entertaining characters. The show follows a 40-year-old divorcee mom named Liza Miller, who lies about her age to get an assistant job at a publishing house. Younger built a large fanbase across six years, garnering numerous nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards, People's Choice Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.

Besides the wacky premise, the show thrives thanks to the incredible cast. Though Liza is the lead, many of her friends, coworkers, and love interests have the same amount of time and character development in Younger, making them just as enjoyable as the quirky aspiring editor. Younger: Where Else You've Seen The Cast
Image
While Younger was just a little TV series that started on TV Land, it blew up to become hugely popular thanks to the pretty stellar Younger cast. Foster stars as Liza Miller, a 40-year-old divorcee who realizes she can pass off as a 20-something woman and lies about her age to get a job in the publishing industry. She then makes new friends but has to keep lying about her age to protect her job. Some actors have been in the business for decades, and some have lengthy resumes in the theater world.

Hilary Duff may have been the most recognizable name in the cast. Still, fans might recognize other cast members from projects they have been in, with Foster in the lead role and names like Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor in key supporting roles. Many of the Younger cast members have also already gone on to star in other projects,...

But of course, with the monthly additions on Netflix, there are the inevitable removals. While the bulk of the content leaving Netflix in January 2025 consists of movies, there are a trio of fan-favorite series that fans will...

NCIS: New Orleans - Why Lucas Black's Agent Lasalle Left The Show
Image
Chris Lasalle's sudden death in NCIS: New Orleans season 6 shocked fans, but the show continued without him, leading to a stronger, more unified team. Lucas Black left the show due to long production hours affecting his family life, focusing on faith-based movies and a YouTube channel afterward. Black reprised his role in the Fast & Furious franchise, appearing in F9, and starred in other films like Legacy Peak, Birthright Outlaw, and Unsung Hero.

One of the most unexpected events from NCIS: New Orleans season 6 was the Chris Lasalle death scene. NCIS: New Orleans is a crime drama series and a spin-off of the NCIS franchise. It follows a team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents stationed in the Big Easy, regularly dealing with crimes involving the Navy and Marine Corps. Younger: Who Every Main Character Ended Up With
Image
Younger is a unique show defying genre tropes by not pairing everyone off for a 'happy' ending. Characters like Zane and Diana have unclear relationship statuses post-show, leaving fans to speculate. Liza and Josh's journey in Younger ends with a hint at a happy ending, mirroring their meet-cute moment.

Younger, as much as it is a series about friendship, careers, and making it in New York, is a show about relationships. Based on the book of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran, the comedy-drama ran for 7 seasons between 2015 and 2021, and focuses on Liza, a recently divorced woman in her 40s who decides to pretend to be in her 20s. Like many similar shows, there's a central will-they-won't-they love triangle in Younger, between Liza, Josh, and Charles and everyone starts out single and finds their way through various dating mishaps to a (hopefully) happy ending.

Unlike many similar series, however,...

When The Originals & Legacies Are Set In The Vampire Diaries Timeline
Image
The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Legacies have interconnected timelines, with characters and events overlapping throughout the series. The Originals takes place during seasons 5 and 6 of The Vampire Diaries, while Legacies starts two years after the deaths of Klaus and Hayley. Legacies' timeline is shorter than the other two shows, with its final season ending in mid-2029, while The Vampire Diaries concludes in March 2018 and The Originals reaches its farthest point in May 2026.

The Vampire Diaries' popularity led to the spin-offs The Originals and Legacies, and as they center on immortals who are centuries old, it's useful to know how the The Vampire Diaries spin-off's timelines connect. The Vampire Diaries' first season takes place in 2009. On the first day of her junior year, Elena falls for the mysterious Stefan Salvatore, who happens to be a 162-year-old vampire. Stefan and his older brother Damon open Elena's eyes to the mystical history...

Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, and Nina Dobrev in The Vampire Diaries (2009)
The Originals has been off the air for over four years, but the popularity of the world established in The Vampire Diaries reigns today.

The second spinoff series, Legacies, got canceled after four seasons, and fans have been clamoring for it to be saved.

We're here to take a look at the Originals, and what the actors are doing now!

Leah Pipes -- Camille O'Connell

Camille was a human bartender who got turned into a vampire by Aurora de Martel before being killed by Lucien.

Joseph Morgan Could Be Returning for the Legacies Finale, & The Originals Fans Are Freaking Out
Joseph Morgan
Joseph Morgan played Klaus Mikaelson to perfection for seven years across The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff, The Originals.

Recent social media posts have left fans wondering whether he will appear in the forthcoming series finale of Legacies following its cancellation.

The third series in The Vampire Diaries Universe has featured plenty of faces from the past, and fans have been begging for more Klaus content since The Originals Season 5 Episode 13.

If you watch The Originals online, you know Klaus was killed off in the final scene of the New Orleans-set drama.

Morgan took to social media Wednesday to address the speculation.

“First of all, I haven’t seen any cast from the Tvdu in years, not in person at least, I promise you that,” Morgan tweeted.

“All this speculation is gonna drive you crazy."

"Let go of these nonsense theories about hidden codes, Everyone knows Klaus Mikaelson is dead.

‘Early Edition’ Reboot Pilot Scrapped at CBS
Image
CBS has decided not to move forward with its gender-flipped “Early Edition” reboot project after completing the pilot, Variety has learned.

The original ’90s drama “Early Edition” starred Kyle Chandler as a man who magically received tomorrow’s edition of the Chicago Sun-Times today, delivered to his door each morning by a mysterious ginger tabby cat. His knowledge of the future then gave him the chance to change it for the better.

In the rebooted version, ambitious but uncompromising journalist Beth (Alice Eve) starts receiving tomorrow’s newspaper today. She then finds herself in the complicated business of changing the news instead of reporting it.

Beth is further described as the executive producer of Ksea, a local Seattle TV news station. A journalist/investigative reporter since she was a kid, Beth is very focused on getting the story no matter what, which sometimes puts her at odds with her beloved mentor,...

Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
Saving Hope will be a tough mission.

If you watch Legacies online, you know that Klaus and Hayley's daughter recently turned her humanity off as she activated her tribrid abilities.

In doing so, a God named Ken is coming after her to reclaim his status as the most powerful being in all the world.

On Legacies Season 4 Episode 15, Freya (Riley Voelkel), Rebekah (Claire Holt), Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), and Kol (Nathaniel Buzzolic) return, presumably to help save their niece.

"Welcome home, little one," Rebekah says to a clearly surprised Hope, who finds herself back in New Orleans.f

If you watch Legacies online, you know Hope threatened her aunt the last time they crossed paths, telling her to make sure none of the family tried to stop her.

"Why won't you just go away?" Hope complains in one scene, leading to the following response from Rebekah.

Younger's Kelsey Spinoff Is 'Pretty Much Off the Table,' Darren Star Says
Image
Friendly warning: This article contains spoilers from the series finale of Younger. Haven’t watched? Get to streaming!

Younger may have ended on a somewhat ambiguous note for leading lady Liza, but at least Kelsey’s future is clear — sort of. After discovering that Rob was actually scamming her (“I have terrible taste in men!”), Kelsey found a new investor for Inkubator in Reese Witherspoon’s production company. (If you don’t remember Kelsey’s dealings with Witherspoon & Co., perhaps the term “age queer” will help jog your memory.)

‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Series Finale: EPs Talk Sasha’s Fate, Importance Of Ending On A “Joyful” Note & The Upcoming ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’
Image
Spoiler Alert: The following story contains details from the series finale of NCIS: New Orleans.

On Monday, NCIS: New Orleans came to the end of its seventh and final season, going out on a celebratory note.

The series finale, titled “Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler,” picks up with Pride (Scott Bakula) on the eve of his wedding to Rita (his real-life wife Chelsea Field), as he continues to dig into an attack on his half brother Jimmy (Jason Alan Carvell) and Connor (Drew Scheid), the son he’s only recently come to know.

Initially, it seems like the attack came from one of his mother Sasha’s (Callie Thorne) many enemies. It ultimately comes out, though, that Sasha had the attack staged, so that she could take Connor into Witness Protection, without Pride intervening. While it looks for a moment like Connor is going to skip town with his mother,...

Younger Is Back For Its Final Season, but 2 Big Characters Won't Be Along For the Ride
Image
Younger is back for its seventh and final season, and it's incredibly bittersweet. As we get ready to say goodbye to the beloved cast, fans will likely be a little disappointed that two important characters will have their storylines cut short this season. Ahead of the premiere of the final season on Paramount+, it was announced that previous series regulars Miriam Shor (Diana Trout) and Charles Michael Davis (Zane Anders) would only have recurring roles this season.

"Due to scheduling and Covid related matters, Miriam Shor and Charles Michael Davis were unable to be season seven cast regulars," series creator Darren Star told TVLine in a statement. "However, they will always be a much loved and integral part of the Younger family and have added so much heart and soul to the series."

So, just how exactly are their absences explained? In the first episode, we learn that Zane has...

‘Younger’ Team Teases the Most ‘Mature’ and ‘Unexpected’ Season Yet
Image
When “Younger” debuted in 2015, the show was built on a lie. The female protagonist, Liza Miller, played by the Tony Award-winning Sutton Foster, is a 40-year-old divorcee who poses as a millennial in order to re-establish a career in the book publishing industry.

Seven seasons later, as the show enters its final batch of episodes, “Younger” is telling the truth.

“There is no more lie. She is not hiding anything anymore, and this season, she is creative and daring and is taking charge,” Foster says of her character.

For the first time since the series has been on the air, Liza’s age is not the crux of the show. With her real identity out in the open, the storylines won’t be rooted in dancing-around Liza’s lie, which opens up the floodgates for entirely new character dynamics — especially when it comes to Liza’s love life.

“It was...
