In Little Favour we meet Wallace (Benedict Cumberbatch), a special ops-type guy who is approached by an old colleague named James (Colin Salmon) in order to make good on a lingering debt. James is currently at the wrong end of a bad deal, and needs help to protect his most precious asset. However, some favors ask more of us than others – as Wallace quickly learns when he is plunged headfirst into the midst of the threat James is up against.

A trailer for a new short film starring Benedict Cumberbatch has been released.
Action thriller Little Favour sees the Sherlock star play a former soldier called Wallace, who is asked by a friend who once saved his life for a favour in return.
The teaser trailer for the 22-minute short, which has yet to be given a release date, sees Wallace being beaten and covered in blood.
Little Favour is the first film to come from Cumberbatch's production company SunnyMarch.
It was written and directed by Patrick Monroe, and also stars Nick Moran and Colin Salmon.
Cumberbatch can next be seen playing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in The Fifth Estate, which is released in the UK on October 11 and the Us on October 18.

It’s a great week for Benedict Cumberbatch. Moviegoers around the world (though not yet in the U.S.) are currently flocking to see Star Trek Into Darkness, in which he plays the villain. And another film he’s set to star in has already become a humongous success thanks to a quick crowdfunding drive at Indiegogo. The newer project is a short titled Little Favour and will feature the Sherlock Holmes star as a Ptsd-suffering man enlisted by an old friend (Harry Potter actor Nick Moran) to “help with a deal gone wrong.” With six days still remaining in the effort, Little Favour has already greatly surpassed its goal of £25,000 ($38,385) and looks to possibly triple that amount. This is a pretty remarkable achievement for a campaign that has nothing illustrating its potential, not a video nor storyboards nor any other sort of proof of concept.
