Rafael Escolar, born in Amorebieta (Spain), completed an Associate Degree in Audiovisual Productions in Barcelona before graduating in Film Studies in the United States. With more than thirty years of experience as a screenwriter, director, and independent producer, his work includes the feature films "Hebe" "Día 1" "Dalia" "Adagio","Uomo" and "Posdata", as well as the documentaries on gender-based violence "Nadia Cambia" and "Si hay Violencia". He has also developed the on-camera acting method "Acting Self" and is working on a new book aimed at film and theater directors, entitled "The Art of Directing Actors: From Text to Action - Mastering Hermeneutics in Directing Actors." Escolar's extensive experience and innovative contributions highlight his influential role in both filmmaking and education.
